Yu-Gi-Oh Quick Head Canon: Yugi gets a lot of his personality from his mother. She seems very quiet and unassuming but she has a very kind heart. She also has the uncanny ability to see the good in people no matter how terrible.

(Alternative head canon is that her stronger temper came from a darker life than Yugi did. Much like her son, she was bullied and teased for being optimistic and caring. However, instead of taking it, she acquired a temper and fought back. It took a bit for her edges to resoften but after meeting Yugi’s father, she let herself be optimistic about life. But, she does maintain a realistic outlook, something she hopes to teach her son sooner than later.)

Yu-Gi-Oh Quick Head Canon: Kaiba Corp was one of the first companies to respond to the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami. They made considerable donations to the affected communities, both monetary and volunteers, used their stadiums and park as shelters, and provided military grade helicopters and jets for response teams.

(Alternative head canon is that Seto Kaiba personally provided relief for the hundreds of children orphaned by the event. He connected many children to remaining family members, provided them medical attention, and donated to various orphanages so they could handle the influx of children.)

Yu-Gi-Oh Quick Head Canon: Pegasus is a Tim Burton fan. Much like his deck style, Pegasus has some unconventional interests that are polarizing. He enjoys the playful and cartoony humor but takes delight in macabre aesthetics. He found that blend in Tim Burton.

(Alternative head canon is that every year for Halloween, he dresses as Jack Skellington. The latter’s showmanship and general personality clicked with Pegasus. They both also chased dreams they couldn’t have and had to overcome the reality that those dreams were an impossibility. Plus, Pegasus knows he rocks the pinstripes and jagged collar any day.)
