@des8pudels8kern yeah, they pretty much ignore all the terrible shit they’ve both done to make it brotherly. If you’re in it for grimdark they gloss over the majority of it except that Thor, quite justifiably, doesn’t trust Loki with goddamn shit, to the point where he basically shuts him down anytime he opens his mouth until the very end of the movie. And even then it’s pretty clear he still doesn’t really trust him.

Therapeutic for me. Traumatizing for the Loki fans.

This! My problem with the whole movie. In the other movies with loki they continuesly bring up how terrible a person he is and what he did to earth and now it isn’t even mentioned. Loki also comes accross as a bit of an idiot. Thor isn’t tricked by loki even once, he can’t defend himself against strange or valkary.
