Reasons Why You Need To Watch Good Girls on NBC

1. Girl power

I’m not fucking kidding!!! This show is so FEMENIST!!!! It literally centers around three amazing women and their wonderful relationship. Three beautiful, curvy, unapologetic women who are so fucking easy to relate to.

Women with shitty jobs, no jobs, money problems, shitty husbands, good husbands, sick kids, self-image issues, self love and love for one another!! Women who get in over their heads, women with good hearts!! Women who aren’t black-and-white, women who struggle and make mistakes, women who take shit into their own hands!

2- representation- not only does this show have three female leads who are not the standard “I’m a skinny pretty white girl” female leads we see a ton of. It has a wonderful cast! Men of color!! Trans teen!!

3- slowwwww buuuuuuuuuuurn!!! I don’t remember the last time I watched a show with such palpalabe tension between two characters who you will SHIP SOOO HARD!!!

PS-Stan and Ruby are a wonderful example of a good marriage!
