Dear Bellarke shippers

Thank you. Thank you for the unbelievable support the majority of you are showing to us Clexa shippers. I’m absolutely blown away by this. I thought that Clexa tag would be full of gloating, and I am so sorry for my assumption. The fact that people recognize how difficult it is to lgbtq+ shippers and their allies gives me hope.

And fellow Clexa shippers: yes, Lexa’s death was cruel and unnecessary and we were baited once again, but you know what I’m choosing to focus on? On the fact that the majority of people shipping a straight couple are graceful and human enough to sympathize and recognize that what the 100 has done is just wrong. Because to me, this is the first time EVER that a gay character’s death enraged THE MAJORITY, not just LGBTQ+ viewers. To me, this shows that times actually HAVE changed. And there is still hope for us.

DEFINITELY someday.
