I’m Toni, age 24, any/all pronouns, and this is my blog entirely dedicated to my OCs (and possibly some of my friends’ OCs :p). I’ll post art and lore here, answer questions, maybe even do a little bit of rp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ who knows :3.

Taking inspiration from my characters for your own is okay as long as it’s not a direct rip. And no taking my art and using it without permission. I will hunt you down.

I am an adult, and am okay with suggestive content as long as the character in question is an adult, but outright nsfw and smut is Not Okay, especially if I don’t know you. You will be blocked.

This is my blog that I’m running for fun. I can and will block anyone for any reason. You’re not fun and quirky for breaking my rules and/or being weird. I don’t have time to deal with that.

You can ask questions directed AT a character as well, which I will answer in-character! When it comes to ttrpg characters, I’ll answer based on how they’d respond at the current point in the story, so the same question might have different answers if asked a few months apart as my groups play more sessions :]

okay. hilarious idea.

the absolute first thought i had was my nexion characters. most of them are Probably Fine (sans the fact that most are wild animals, we only focusing on the anthros here). however. Aftershock and Sockeye. they. DESPISE EACHOTHER. everyone else is kinda excitable. this very quickly turns into a fight rink. most are taking bets, a few are trying to be damage control, several have left, several more have alcohol now somehow, where they got it, nobody really knows

What is your favorite line that you have ever written or said in character?

I have a few different answers for this I think

I’m gonna assume you’re talking about dnd but I’m kinda thinking about everything I’ve ever created and. Damn.

For something I’ve written, honestly I probably peaked in high school with one of my fanfic/ripoffs I wrote constantly, but as for stuff I can remember:

Looked through a lot of my old Kas prewrites/theories/whatever and found a short hypothetical I wrote about Kas on Life 4, drunk into a stupor after what happened between him and Jericho. Jericho finds him being an idiot and decides to walk him home to make sure he doesn’t pass out in the street, and just. This interaction:

With like. The following context being them not talking for a year after that and then all of the campaign stuff- y’know. I just love them.

I also love in my itwotd notes, after Jericho stabs Kas, my note for that is “Kas didn’t notice the knife until it was buried in his back” which goes hard.

I also have some other Kas things I’d love to throw in here but unfortunately they are potential spoilers 💔

I also really love the Clover dream you and I wrote together, I think some of the stuff Eries said in that was sick but I can’t find the doc to pull anything specific 💔 oh well

Actually SAYING in character, “best” and “favorite” are probably different things, though I think it’s gonna be either Kas or Eries regardless.

Now. I do not have time to sift through my uh. Checks watch. 400+ pages of notes between those two campaigns looking for anything in particular, but what sticks out in my brain the most:

Eries: “I’m still pissed at you, but I’m so fucking glad you’re alive.” Clover reunion my fucking beloved, god I’m still emotional over that.

Kas: “I really don’t think I’m holy, but I don’t want to be unreachable anymore.” JERIKASSSS YIPPEEEEE 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I’m sure I could find some other hard-as-hell lines if I go look but if you think I got the time and energy for that, ur crazy.

If you we're to put the dnd characters into another game universe where do you think they'd thrive? What about struggle?

I'm going with video games here since I'm less familiar with other TTRPG options lol

Kas: This man is so full of anxiety that I struggle to think of anything in particular that he would fit into. Oddly, I think he'd love something he can minmax, put that man in Slime Rancher and he will create the greatest slime ranch anyone has ever fucking seen. In order to thrive, he needs something that won't stress him out or force him to talk to too many people. As such, throwing him into anything high-stakes, like a Resident Evil game, or really most story-heavy RPGs, would be actual torture for him. He'd die immediately in most horror games.

Eries: She'd probably fit in well vibe-wise into Legend of Zelda games, though the ones I'm most familiar with are Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom! She loves helping others, and would find a lot of joy in exploring and doing quests. She probably wouldn't like horror games, and wouldn't fit in. Any time something seems like a threat, she's just going to try and kill it, so while she may survive, it wouldn't exactly be a good fit.

Glory: Goodness, Glory would LOVE Minecraft!! Or really anything open-world, but Minecraft in particular would be a playground for them. Exploring a world vacant of other intelligent life with abandoned or semi-abandoned structures to explore, freedom to go wherever they want at their own pace, no rules, they would absolutely love it! They would probably also thrive in anything puzzle-based. I don't think they'd enjoy being in anything story-heavy, they're very dense and not great about interacting with others, so anything requiring competent social interaction wouldn't go very well.

Cypress: Oddly, I think he'd enjoy being in Hollow Knight. Cy has very Bug vibes to me, and I think he'd be fascinated by the world and the people in it. I also think that he'd thrive in low-stakes RPGs, he loves other people and would have a great time solving (or causing) problems! I also think he'd enjoy Minecraft, but only if he had company. I know I've said it a few times already, but horror games would be a bad fit, he would definitely have a panic attack and/or die within the first five minutes. This kid has already been through enough horror in his life, he wouldn't handle more very well.

Which of your characters would, upon seeing a giant puddle, immediately jump/roll around in it, and which characters would drag them out and force them to get a bath?

Corbinian. Tiffany is dragging his ass out with the help of River, they both can't fathom how this man still has his job.

Cooper and Spico would honestly be on the same page for this one and be in the puddle together playing with rubber ducks

Paintball is also in the puddle and nobody is forcing him out of it because he's already ran back after the bath 3 times and they've given up

Also Nills, I think that's one of the only ways she gets blood into her head is just moving at extremely fast speeds

Spico is trying to get Cooper to go on one, Cooper is very unwilling and Spico either gives in or finds someone else to go with them

River i dont think would mind them! Not her favorite but she won't turn down the offer of one

Corbinian would drag your ass to one, as would Paintball, both of which you wouldn't think would be able to pull someone but then they just chuck you on their shoulder like a fucking potato sack

Equinox, Finn, and Wetherby you would need to give a million dollars for them to even fucking consider going near one

the dynamic between two people who love a third person so much and come to understand each other because of that is so important to me. you would put them first, and so would i. you understand why we have to save them from themself. i trust you with their life, and so, that means more than if i trusted you with mine. the love doesn't have to be the same, but it's powerful enough that you understand why you're not the only satellite drawn into their orbit.

Fringille and Mauve would absolutely adopt a dog.

Coral loves all animals, but she would most likely want a pet bird.

Akuji would absolutely have a pet lizard; or since this IS DND, a pseudo-dragon.

Aeroki would honestly love a pet turtle, or a snake.

Your ocs have suddenly been transported into a game of your choice. How are they faring?

Oooooh. I’m about to subvert your expectations. They’re put in… Wait for it. WAITTTT FOR IT…

Spore. Tribal stage. There are usually 4 roles you can assign to each member, social, combat, health, or gathering. Coral is a musician, of course. Fringille is a hunter/gatherer. Aeroki is the Chieftain. Akuji is the healer/shaman.

I don’t know if you’ve ever played Spore, I’m going to assume not, but Tribal stage was always my favorite. You have to not only gather enough food and keep your own tribe happy, you also need to form relationships with other tribes, both good and bad. So you can choose to be peaceful to the tribes and ally with them, or violent to the other tribes by starting wars and conquering their tribe as your own, taking their camp and expanding your conquest. This is directly linked to the Civilization stage later, as once you evolve the tribes you ally with form their OWN civilizations that you can trade with. And the hostile nations will wage war on you in revenge if you attacked them or their allies. It’s BRILLIANT.

I’d figure Aeroki’s tribe would be more peaceful and try to ally with the other tribes. But they wouldn’t be completely unprepared if another tribe DID choose to attack them. :)

Cypress, what was a defining moment in your life? How have you changed from it?

Nills: "so Glory, I've never asked you, what was your family like? I know you have Bluebell now but what about before?"

Glory:

“Ah, that is a whole story. Generally, Mohsnians consider all other members of our race as a sort of family, but as for what you fleshy folks might consider family… Well, I was born in Granite, as most Mohsnians are, carved to life by three parents: Crevasse, a stocky emerald-made with a knack for weaving; Seraph, a more slender quartz-made who, as far as I know, still has not found her Resonance; and Clutter, an opal-made that spends a lot of time gathering precious materials from Granite’s mines. All three of them contributed to carving me and bestowing me life, so I would consider all of them my parents. I suppose you could call them a… what is the word… polycule? That is a term you fleshy folks use, but they never put a true label on their relationship, they did not have need for that. I was referred to as all three of their child by various folks, though it was most often Child of Crevasse, prior to picking Glory-of-the-Snow as my name. Right around when I reached maturity, the three of them carved another child, made from yellow quartz. I only knew them for about ten years before I set off with my first Cryodon companion, and have not gone back to visit just yet, so I am unaware of whether they have picked a name or found their Resonance, though they should be around seventy years old at this point.”

“The reason I left Granite was because I found an injured Cryodon not far from the city, named Bear. Bear’s guide had died in the jungle on their way towards Granite, thanks to a wild creature attack. I took it upon myself to return Bear to Breckart, but during the long travel, Bear and I grew quite close, I realized my own Resonance was to become a Cryodon guide myself. The Cryodon Council approved my application, thanks to Bear refusing to let anyone else replace his previous guide but me. Bear and I traveled the Bellowing Wilds together for about sixty years, doing research and learning about the world, until he reached maturity and became a Permafrost Cryodon. We returned to Breckart, and Bear was appointed to assist the Cryodon Council not long after. I stayed in Breckart for about a year, before the Council offered to let me take a second Cryodon to guide, since I had already proven myself helping Bear reach maturity. Of course I accepted, and Bluebell came under my care soon after.”

“As for what they are all like, well… Crevasse is incredibly stubborn, if they put their mind to something, it will get done, one way or another. Seraph is very energetic, and surprisingly spry for an eight-foot-tall being made of stone. She has the disposition of a child, and a curiosity that rivals that of the Cryodons, they would probably love her. Clutter is the most boisterous of the trio, you could hear their laugh from a mile away, and I pity anyone who has challenged them in sledgehammer-fencing! My sibling, I unfortunately do not know very well, they were so young when I left, but I have a feeling they will find purpose in the arts, they always seemed very crafty. Bear is very kind. He always knew how to find the silver lining in any situation. He was always very cool-headed and logical, and picked up on fleshy folk expectations much faster than I did. For a while, before I learned the standard currency, Bear would do most of the shopping — or, rather, would tell me exactly what to buy, and then count out the coins himself. I still do not entirely get how your currency works, it is so illogical, but I at least understand it enough to trade it for goods now. I have not seen Bear since leaving Breckart with Bluebell, but I am sure he is excelling at his duties with the Cryodons.”

“And that is it, I believe. You already know Bluebell, and that is everyone I would consider my immediate family.”

Glory, what does your name mean to you?

Glory:

“Well, I can of course tell you the meaning behind my name! It is customary in Mohsnian culture for each member to name themselves when they feel they have found a name that truly speaks to them. Prior to picking a name, Mohsnians are usually referred to in relation to their parents or siblings. I named myself when I was about 90. I’d been traveling on my own for nearly three decades at that point — well, not alone, I had Bear, my first Cryodon companion. It was early in the spring, a few days’ travel outside of Breckart, and snow was still on the ground. Bear spotted a small purple flower blooming amidst the ice: a Glory-of-the-Snow. He said it reminded him of me, with its purple coloration and resilience to bloom in such cold conditions. I realized in that moment that that was it, that was my name. Glory-of-the-Snow. Although, most people just call me Glory!”
