Calendar page for april ✨🌸 It’s probably going to be a weird month with the quarantine and all the online classes but at least I have a little more time to do some pretty bujo spreads. Hope everyone is safe!

I think I will restart my 100 days of productivity challenge? Idk, I wanna do it but it feels kind of tacky continuing my months-on-hiatus-by-now-100dop
2020 quarantine challenge
Week 1, Friday
What is your favorite subject/topic to study at the moment?
As a working immigrant, I am most invested into subjects that possibly can improve my work performance and/or make my resume look outstanding. Therefore I am focused on improving my teaching skills, my English, and learning about childhood development.
As for favorite although not practically useful at all (at least not yet) - Spanish!

How are all of you doing? I had a picnic for myself on the terrace of my house after sitting in front of my laptop for the entire day. I hope all of you are taking some time to relax during this time. You may not be the most productive right but I hope you don’t beat yourself up about it. Take care, stay safe and stay at home as much as you can!
Currently reading: American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis

Quarantine has got me feeling a little more in touch with myself, reviving old hobbies and interests, even if it was forced upon me. I can now play and sing Andar Conmigo by Julieta Venegas on my uke, which is neat, I’ve baked some real good banana bread and have been revisiting music, series, and movies I used to like a lot when I was a teenager, which is always fun.
I had to white out a bunch of dates on my planner bc its uncertain when I’ll be going back to college, and so there seems to be no point on keeping up with the planning in such a structured way, instead, I’ve been using a notebook to write to-dos when I need to. I miss the structure tho. I felt so in control of what I was doing for a couple of months and then this whole situation hit. oof.
I hope everyone’s safe out there.
november 19th 2019 — a list: sleeping in, cleaning the flat, going to my psychiatrist appointment, cooking lunch, reading a archenemies, taking care of myself and drinking good coffee, reading, reading, reading, forever reading words, absorbing them, breathing them in and forever holding them in my heart. reading is truly magical and i wouldn’t trade it for the world.

be with people who make you feel like yourself. be with people who have never judged you for your flaws. with those who make flowers bloom in your chest, with those who feel like a warm blanket. they'll always cherish you. ♡

gentle reminder: notes don’t have to be pretty to be effective
today was a national curfew here in India. Our prime minister said that to honour all the people who work in the service industry who can’t afford to stay at home, we should stand at out balconies or windows at 5pm and clap. I wasn’t sure if many people would do it, but surprisingly, EVERYONE did it. it was honestly beautiful.

i’ve been dealing with a cold for the past week and it’s not getting any better. i really hope it magically fixes by friday in time for placement. i wasn’t feeling too good when i woke up in the morning, but i forced myself to attend my dissection workshop at uni for 2 hours. we covered the facial muscles, blood and nerve supply to the face, and a whole lot about the orbit and extra-ocular muscles. i am glad that i did attend because it was good content to review.
i had to do my midweek share of cooking so i didn’t get much work done at home, apart from a lecture about insulin therapy in diabetes. so i have one more lecture to catch up on about diabetes (about its complications), and then two anatomy lectures from today. i’ve written a third of a poem for one of my group projects, and i wanted to get it done by friday, but i’m stuck on how to progress with it.

Working on finding sources for my big research paper. The introduction and literature review are due on Thursday and I know I won’t have time to work on them at all during the week. Definitely left my computer charger at work, so I’ll have to find some time to grab that because my battery is getting REALLY low.
