BRAKE HOUSE (2016)

I’ve loved this house since i was a kid, when most of my friends lived in similarly- sited places within its forested neighbourhood. The area seemed so peaceful (and so different from my own more conventionally suburban address) that I spent most of my tween sleepovers and teenage house parties in a state of envy. This short video offers a slideshow of the property, which was restored by art collector and architect Ron Sang. (Image via homestolove.co.nz)
