I read the Wolverine: Weapon X...

Saying it hurt would be an understatement.

It left me with way too many emotions while somehow making me feel completely empty at the same time.

So... I had to draw it.

I just wanted to draw Logan in a Japanese vibe and get back into painting after a break.

So I just realised

Wolverine and sabertooth are like opposites

One struggles with their humanity the other wigh their animalistic side, one grew up poor but likes expensive things and the other grew up rich but prefers the simple life etc...

And logan canonically dislikes holidays..... so clearly victor must love them

I just imagine sabes decorating his whole home for Christmas with a big smile and throwing a big party that he buys or bakes tons of cookies for, just all the Christmas cheer

I just rewatched X-Men: Evolution.

And God, I wish we had more moments between them… They’re just so—

That scene where she tries to kill him, but he stops her… and then she just breaks down, hugging him, finally allowing herself to be the child she truly is, searching for the comfort she’s never had.

And he just stands there, not knowing what to do — because he’s not used to showing affection — but he knows she needs it… so he hugs her back. 😭
