âIs it all uphill?â Jensen groaned, panting as he held his phone up.
He glanced around the signs, looking for anything that would tell him where to go.
You were running on the other side, rummaging through your purse, looking for your phone to call your best friend.
There was so much traffic that you were running extremely late. And you were scared you would miss your flight.
âDammit, where is it!â You gritted through your teeth.
Without either you nor Jensen paying attention to your surroundings, you managed to collide right into one another, almost knocking you off your feet.
He immediately dropped his phone, as your purse fell to the floor.
âShit, Iâm so sorry!â You exclaimed.
âNo, no, Iâm sorry.â He muttered. âI shouldâveââ he paused as he glanced at you.
Your eyes met, and suddenly, you forgot how to breathe. There he was, Jensen freaking Ackles, standing in front of you.
âI-I shouldâve been paying attention.â He whispered, still gazing at you.
âI-itâs totally f-fine.â You hesitated, feeling your stomach begin to flutter.
He was mesmerized to say the least. Your were alluring, and for the life of him, he couldnât break the trance.
A voice came on over the speaker, snapping you both back to reality. Fortunately for you, they were just now boarding your plane.
âShit! I have to go!â You yelped.
Quickly, you scooped up as much as you could into your purse and started toward your terminal.
Jensen watched you as you hurried away, but noticed something on the floor. Glancing down, he saw a phone.
âHey! You forgot-â but of course, you were gone.
He picked up the iPhone, and started toward your direction. He hated running in the airport, but he knew how scary it is to lose a phone. Besides, he didnât mind seeing you again.
After a little while, he finally caught up to you. You were panting, looking through your purse once again.
âHey!â He called out.
Snapping your gaze over to the familiar voice, you felt your stomach begin to flutter. âH-hi.â You smiled.
You saw your phone in his hand and immediately you were relieved.
âYou dropped this back there.â He chuckled. âDonât want to lose your contacts.â
You threw your arms around him, your smile growing by the second. âOh my gosh! Thank you so much!â You exclaimed.
Feeling him return the hug, made your heart begin to beat rapidly. You were hugging your favorite actor. And having you close to him, Jensen felt his breath shake in the back of his throat.
âAlright, you better go before you miss your plane.â He chuckled, once again.
âRight. Donât wanna do that.â Though you wished you didnât have to leave just yet. âThanks for saving my life.â You cackled.
He shrugged his shoulders, digging his hands deep into his front pockets.
Though it wasnât a long encounter, it was by far the best thing to ever happen to you. And you would never forget it.
As you and your best friend finally settled into your seats, you felt your phone vibrate.
As you looked at the screen, you furrowed your brows as your eyes looked over the letter âJâ
âWho the hell is J?â You mumbled to yourself.
Opening the message, you swore you thought your heart had skipped a beat.
âWait, is thatâis that fucking Jensen Ackles?!â Your best friend asked, gripping your arm.
You glanced up at her, eyes wide. âI think so.â
