so about that battle pass...

if you aren't aware, the plot's return has introduced a battle pass feature (called the "adventure pass" on the site) where you earn rewards from completing certain objectives. before release the requirements were pretty vague but we now know that this is based on plot points obtained. these also count retroactively, so its possible to have already completed a hefty chunk of the pass already!

the issue is with the paid tier, and what comes along with it. the free battle pass tier only goes up to level 20.

there's still 25 more levels beyond this, which is just absurd. even in other battle pass systems the tiers are usually balanced with the free pass, or only include a few extra tiers beyond it. i personally have never seen a paid pass with TWENTY FIVE extra tiers.

the amount is likely taken from the average player's plot progression, because i'm technically at level 38/45

but still, having a 45 tier battle pass and making only half of it free is insane. the FOMO aspect comes from the better rewards, not missing out on half the experience.

but regardless of my grievances, it's up to you whether or not you think it's worth your time. i have some NC leftover so i'll be purchasing the pass, i think between the stamps (oh god the stamps) and the NC rewards that instantly being awarded a ton of really good items is worth it. it's not an endorsement of this crap, just me being greedy and hypocritical.
