would you believe me if I tagged this as neopets plot spoilers? and would you believe me if I said what actually happens next is she tells fyora to beg?
but with the amount of problems that have happened by now as a result of people being pissed off at fyora and her getting at least partially gray’d i am wondering if one of the longterm effects of the plot is that we’re going to get a change of faerie queens, in which case the obvious candidate feels like baelia (i’d say maybe luxinia but they’d have to do shit in fragments to match)

scent headcanons (that i put way too much thought into) for skarl i chose seasonings that would have been common during the middle ages because i think he would smell like meat, bread because its in his prize pool, beer because he canonically drinks it, tobacco because i think he would smoke due to stress (not historically accurate but this ain't earth lol). dragon's blood was non-negotiable - he's a dragon! (and it's my favorite scent) for darigan i chose black currants because i think dariberries would taste similar, dried roses due to them being on his tarot card, and coffee thanks to the handful of citadel coffee items. then charred wood and ash because i imagine he'd have a lingering smell thanks to his spectre transformation. myrrh because it's expensive and the tree is covered in large thorns like the citadel trees are.
Pre-cursed Vex and Morguss
Morguss and Vex are not the darigan colour so I guess this is more thier younger selves
Vex's differnces are pretty simple just lacking his scar, he he hasn't grown out his goatee yet and his widow peek hasn't receded to be a whole mountain. Maybe he got his scar trying to stop a prison break
Young Morguss I've sketched before. Morguss's big differences is her posture and her hair. There is a Morguss wearable that suggest she lost her hair from spending so much time hunched over a cauldron, so I kinda think none of her appearance was affected directly by the curse unlike her daughter

i really like the soft pink background and the gentle tones in this one, and of course how soft the fur looks on their outfits and the way they're posed. darigan having to bend over so far and skarl still having to stand on his toes to kiss him 🥺🥰
still looking into having this one printed. it's perfect and i want to find the perfect print option for it.
So labeling Malevolent Being's difficulty as 40 is either, a mistake, a sick joke or an indication that there is some trick or special item that makes the fight easy that we wont get until later on

ok here is my first attempt at doing a reading, the next pages should be better quality
Every so often I play with the idea of makeing fan audio books for the out of print neopets novels, but never actually committed to starting such a project because I get a little self conscious about it
Well I was thinking about it again and realized, since alot of people seem to be complaining about the void within recent chapter being alot of reading maybe that would be something people would like as an audio version
Course this would have been a more useful idea when the chapter first released but whatever
I guess people could use screen readers so maybe it wouldn't actually be that useful for me to record one but it might be good practice
On the other hand it's probably more work then I think so maybe I'd just half ass it
