*coughs* I said I'd post what I've been working on so here's the sketch. My style clashes a lot naturally, so Tazuna here is my very helpful reference for height and anatomy [facial mostly].
I had a difficult time deciding on her appearance and personality, and still have yet to pick a name for her! But I did make notes in preparation.

Why these Umas???
Agnes Tachyon is my FAVORITE horse in the game, though I've always been partial to characters with mad science theming ♡ Naturally drawn to her racing outfit, she's the first Uma I properly trained. She set the pace for me quite literally and thus far most of my trainees have been Medium Pace Chasers.
This shows in my picks for other distances, with the cute angel Curren-Chan, and the younger Nishino Flower, and my Long picks, Matikanefukukitaru and Matikanetannhauser. Tosen was a natural pick thanks to simply our love of nail care!
Of course I play the global version of UmaMusume, so there are some umas such as Logotype I'm unable to pull for, but everyone listed on the blue sticky notes are recruits I'd love to train, especially as official members of Dalim! Some I just plain haven't pulled yet. (Please come home Hishi Akebono and Agnes Digital)
Why Dalim???
Umamusume Teams are named after the brightest stars of systems or constellations! Naturally, with a scientist theming being at the front of my enjoyment and tightly wound into Tachyon's character, the fact that Dalim was the brightest star in Fornax, the Chemical Furnace, made it the most obvious choice to me!
We'll turn even the most leaden footsteps to gold!

I have hit a huge financial wall, with my inability to drive preventing me from applying to more jobs that, if licensed, I could reasonably work. I don't have friends or family nearest me that can teach me to drive, so I'm going into driver's ed.
Unfortunately that still means I have to reopen comms at some point to fund that education. And maybe thrift some new professional wear, as mine are- no longer existent. I've grown out of them.
But you said you're doing free art?
Yep! I haven't done commissions in a proper minute and would like to get some feedback on the process without the financial risk. What this means is I ask to draw art of your characters, ships, whatever, in exchange for feedback on TAT, TOS, communication, etc! I may ask later, if I may use the watermarked image as promotion for my comms, but you are OF COURSE, welcome to ask that I not!
I'm simply most happy with the practice and help.
I'm most interested in offering Profile Pics and Reference Sheets, but I know everyone's interests vary by the art style! If interested in anything whatsoever, I encourage you reach out to me with what you'd like!

I know most circus characters can't remove clothes, so I made their hat their limbs! They can remove limbs fairly easily in this digital world anyways and-
They have just the one curl? Better to keep that on.
Solara is an OC I made approximately like uh? Three? Four years ago? I don't draw her much, but at the time I REALLY felt the urge to have a slime OC. I think I grouped her in with my my hero ocs at the time but I think that's ultimately unfair to her 😅 So she's one of the first of my characters I'm redesigning!
She smells of orange citrus zest imo.

My Pinkie Pie redesign is finished! I wont apologize for redesigning ponies that have been redesigned a million times over, it's a fun exercise and it's giving me tons of elation. Four to six year old me is screaming with elation in fact.

Hello all! My spouse and I are short some cash for our marraige, which we were/are hoping to complete and file by the end of October, and our party, to celebrate with friends and family.

Having an autistic horse moment again!! Decided to try another attempt at watching G4 MLP:FiM and it's series and I'm going to be redesigning the ponies in this style as I watch in my free time because I need to do more practice that's not my own characters- and I like the style.
Pinkie Pie is one of my fave of the main 6 and I've started posting my work to Patreon! I know MLP redesigns are common, but as I step back up, something I want to do is draw all of these ponies in this style, possibly redesigning them! If I posted them, would you guys be interested in that?
