here's a concept: about the same time rocky and grace are discovering simon welded into a bloody submarine floating through the void of space, stratt is dealing with a blood-soaked woman named ava breaking into her prison cell and demanding to know if she's loyal to the coi, where the convict went, and how the hell she got off the blood moon.

BloodyMary (Simon/Grace) Fic where Grace is a godling sent to earth to find his purpose, and he falls hard in love with everything. When it comes time to leave, to return to the heavens, he tells the other gods no. They tell him he will be locked out, without their protection. No one will pray to him ever again on this earth, and he will die a human. Grace believes he is okay with this and chooses to stay, but somehow keeps part of his powers.

Time passes

Project Hail Mary is ago, and Grace panics because he is actually going to die. Mortality is a bitch, and he doesnt even get to die on the planet he loves.

Meets rocky, rocky susses him out immediately.

"You say human, question?"

"Yeah I'm human bud."

"Lie. Grace lie. Why heartbeat wrong then, why Grace lie question?"

"... because if you want something hard enough its sure to come true."

Cut to Tau Ceti, they retrieve the sample but Grace is crushed and placed into a comatosed state. Rocky recovers before him, watches as he sleeps. In his sleep, however, Grace hears a prayer. It should be impossible but-

"Please, I just wanna live. Is that too much to ask for?"

It's an echo of his very own soul, and without meaning to, Grace reaches for the whispering soul and drags it closer through time and space, holds it close to his chest and breaths life into it's very being.

Rocky is very surprised to check on Grace one day and see... new human. But this does confirm his suspicions about Grace NOT being human.

New Human wakes up before Grace as well, panics, before seeing Grace and calming down, claiming He must be dead because Grace is a god his cult would pray to. Eden did a lot of bad but it gave him this one last peace...

Rocky tells Simon Grace not god, Grace leaky Space blob. Simon can't understand him, but lays in reverence at Grace's side and together they watch Grace sleep.

Grace wakes up, sees Simon, and is very confused because wtf new human how tf???

Blah blah blah Grace was born in Eden, when man committed the first sin and God chose to love his children regardless, to give them Grace. The other gods could stop Grace from receiving worship in this universe, but they never expected the pleas of one scared man in another to reach sleeping, compassionate ears.

Anyways your honor I love them.

So fucking happy to see more tree!Simon art in the fandom!

I like to think that the tree rapidly grew to an insane size after it exploded out and killed the eel. Its roots digging deep into the moon and its branches just cresting the atmosphere. It is absolutely visible form space on that small moon. The blood ocean is now the iron rich soil it feeds from.

Somewhere hidden within its core, is the man who cared for and carried the trees seed across the universe. And just as the seed had been so carefully protected and preserved in resin, it too now protects and preserves its human. Waiting for the chance to plant him in a place where he too can grow and flourish.

When an exploring Eridian ship investigates the strange moon, the crew collects samples of the ocean and clippings of the tree. They bring them back to Grace to study, hoping they might be beneficial for the humans biome.

Grace is of course excited to study another form of what must be alien life. So he’s equally confused and horrified when human dna is found within the blood-like substance and the tree clippings.

This is when the dreams begin to haunt Grace every night. Dreams of a boiling ocean of blood, a colossal tree and its crimson leaves, and a man who’s waiting for Grace to find him.

Happy Iron Lung release weekend everyone! I’ve never bought something so fast XD and I finished my Simon photo card just in time too!

Now I’ll be able to take so many references of the movie! What did everyone like about the movie? Thoughts? I’d love to hear them! Also I’m still making those mark ego photo cards, just gonna take a bit!

I obviously had to speed draw something inspired by that Mark clip. Can’t believe bloodymary is canon now /silly. I would’ve posted something yesterday but I was simply too tired to draw anything :b Glad I could manage today.

I love all BloodyMary fanfics but I kind of wish there was more Top Grace. Sometimes Top Simon isnt always something im looking for. Personally I think they both switches and im a strong believer (as an ace person) that Grace can be ace and can be sexual too. He could maybe just not need to be reciprocated, just taking care and watching simon is more then enough for him. Obviously not complaining! Just be rambling! I cant wait to see all the fanfics people make in the future and all fics are good!
