By my calculations, Widdershins having 7 pages left puts the ending in later August, but I noticed the website says the Close to Home Kickstarter is launching in just a couple weeks. Is it happening early this time instead of launching with the last page of the chapter like past Kickstarters have?

yeah! I wanted to have the Kickstarter running alongside the final 3 pages, as they're a montage of sorts. it felt fitting, and means I can yell about the Kickstarter for a longer period of time while still bringing updates- I honestly hate doing promo, especially without giving folks something new to look at as well!

Thrown into the path of a notorious gang of criminals named The Loose Ends, Renji is keen to help them even the score; and once an unfair gas bill threatens to leave the city's poorest freezing in their own homes, he finds himself with a chance to do just that. Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
