Hello! I don't know if you can help me or not. The thing is I am 35 years old, I don't even have a boyfriend, I don't have a carrier, I don't even wanted to. I always wanted to be a mother and a wife, but I feel like it's not gonna happen. I just don't know what to do anymore. I was taking care of my grandparents, now I am taking care of the house hold, I live with my sibling, but I don't think it's enough for a purpose or for a life goal.

I think the first thing that you need to do is reevaluate yourself and how you can be the best person you want to be. Figure out actionable steps to take that will help you improve yourself.

Based off the fact that you said “God bless”, I’m going to assume that you are a Christian. So you need to remember that your ultimate purpose and identity is in Christ not marriage and motherhood. But, the calling toward marriage and motherhood is a beautiful one. If you are not involved in a church community, find one! Not only will it help you build a support system and a deeper understanding of your faith, but it’s also a great place to meet a good, single guy lol. I’ve also had a few Christian friends in their 30s that have found good husbands on dating sites that cater to long term relationships (eg OK Cupid). Also a lot of hobbies have clubs/get togethers so if you have a hobby that is likely to be done by men and women, try to find a club for it.

If you’re concerned about having a child in your late thirties, I’ve had friends who’ve had their first child in their forties who’ve had perfectly healthy children, if it’s God’s Will it will happen. There are also opportunities to delve into your nurturing instincts outside of being a biological mother. If you are feeling the pull to care for children before you have your own, look into nannying or working in children’s charities (volunteering with charities also happens to be a good way to meet kind men).

And remember to pray for guidance and read Scripture to fuel your soul.
