â I love him . â Tatia replied bluntly . â Not that it matter anymore . â She shrugged knowing those days and time were long gone and what she felt did not matter anymore . She was not delusional to that . â But yes , I do care for him , despite everything .â Tatia looked Katherine over . confirming her timeline and from when she had come from . A thousand plus years is quite a long time . so many things have changed but she knew to adapt .Â
Her question made her chuckled . â Do I look like someone who needs to be carried or catered to ?â She knew when to ask for help if she needed it but tatia was the kind who did things herself before she asses the situation if she ended up being stuck . She doubted that she needed it now . â Once I find the answer to that question , ill let you know on how I am back . But I suppose since I was killed here , I came back here as well . Only assuming . âÂ
.
She almost felt bad for Tatia. Almost. Being love with Klaus was a cruel fate for anyone, and it was particularly painful for a Petrova. It sounded like a curse to Katherine, but she had enough self control to not comment on that. âYou look exactly like me, so Iâm going to say no, you donât need to be carried. If you want to get to the school quicker, though, the offer still stands.âÂ
Maybe it would be smarter for Katherine to just leave Tatia behind so she could arrive to the school faster. The viking seemed confident in her capacity to make it there on her own, and yet there was a voice in the back of Katherineâs mind telling her that neither of them should go alone. She knew better than to question her intuition, even when it made no sense, so she got ready to start the journey. âWe should probably go now, since the storm keeps getting worse. Weâre completely isolated here, so the sooner we leave, the better. Iâll just drop this body in the woods so they claim itâs an animal attack, but that wonât take us away from our path anyway.â
Katherine didnât really expect an explanation about how Tatia came back to life. It was most likely not her fault, but the messed up work of someone more powerful than either of them. As long as it didnât affect Katherine, she didnât care, and Tatia didnât seem to be a bad company. She picked up the body, careful not to let any blood stain her clothes, and headed to the door, hoping Tatia would follow. âJust watch out for whatever brought you back. They tend to want some sort of payment that we didnât agree on.â
