"Wait, are you serious? Why would anyone want to be caught by the law? How stupid can they be?"
"Some of them think it's hot and it's a turn on for them, others are just too high or stoned or fucked up and they'll admit that they like being in jail or a holding cell so they won't be on the streets or have to deal with shitty people in their house."
"You and everyone else in the town of Red Edge." She laughed. "I'm doing good, I can't complain too much."
"That's because all you do is work, Logan, and take it from someone who works all the damn time, it's not okay. It can literally kill you."

"I can very much do that for you!" Everleigh smiled at her friend. "How about we order some pizza, or Chinese food or something and just relax? You can fill me in on everything that is going on in your life that isn't work related."
"Thank you, Everleigh." Kat smiled at her friend. "Oh, either one is fine, I am so not picky when it comes to food." She added with a laugh. "Honestly, nothing is going on with me. I am so boring. How about you?"
"Fuck them, you don't always need to party." Shane said and looked at her. "I'm doing really good. Things with Devin are fantastic."
"Oh trust me, I know. I'd much rather wake up sober and without a hangover and a dry mouth, but they don't care. I mean, good for them that they want to party, but I cannot do that every single night." Kat laughed. "Good, I like hearing that. You two are such a cute couple."
Emersyn shrugged lightly, meeting her look. “Let them be mad. Not everything has to be a marathon of bad decisions and hangovers.” She smiled a little softer. “I’m glad I’m here too. You needed a night that actually feels good.”
"That's how I see it too. Like I like to drink and party, but there are some days when I want to wake up without dry mouth and hangover." She laughed. "How have you been? Got any exciting news to share?"
“Obligation? I guess that makes me a very dutiful twin…or just really good at selective obedience.” He teased back to her sister with a grin.
Kat laughed. "Can you imagine if we were like that? That'd be so weird." She laughed again. "How are you doing though? How are things with Nicole?"
"Kat, I should be thanking you for inviting me here. I feel like all I do is sleep and work and I just needed a change."
"Honestly, you and I are in the same boat, Violet." Kat said with a laugh. "What's going on in your personal life though?
"Kat, breathe, I promise you that I have no issue coming here just to see you." Aiden promised her with a smile. "How are you doing?"
Kat smiled. "Thank you, Aiden." She said. "I'm doing really good. I can't really complain, how about you?"
"No problem at all, I love chilling at your place," Emma said with a warm smile."What did you have in mind? Netflix and junkfood? or perhaps champagne, masks, and nail polish?"
"All of that, actually." Kat said with a smile. "You can tell Atlas to pick you up in a few hours." She added with a laugh.
