"I can very much do that for you!" Everleigh smiled at her friend. "How about we order some pizza, or Chinese food or something and just relax? You can fill me in on everything that is going on in your life that isn't work related."

Emersyn laughed softly, nodding. “Once a month feels reasonable,” she said. “At that point it is not paranoia, it is just being observant.” She glanced at Everleigh with a playful smile before her tone softened.

“I know,” Emersyn added gently. “There is so much pressure to have everything figured out, like you are doing something wrong if you are not racing toward the next milestone.” She met her eyes. “You are not behind. You are just living your own life, and that is more than enough.”

"See, this is why I love talking to you. You always just know what to say and when to say it. I felt like I was going to crash out because of how far behind in life I felt." She looked at Emersyn and smiled at her. "Though tell me, how are you? Now that Bridgerton is back on Netflix, are you getting requests for the hairstyles on the show?"

"Keeping busy in a good way or like a James Bond secret type of way?" Everleigh joked with a smile. "Work has been good. I love teaching so much."

"Constantly being on go mode is so damn draining." Kennedy looked at Everleigh. "I think the holidays would be less stressed if we all just stopped for a few minutes during that time and just breathed."

Emersyn laughed softly, shaking her head. “Mothman Tik Tok is a slippery slope,” she said. “Once you are there, your entire algorithm is haunted.” She glanced over at Everleigh with an amused smile as they walked.

Her expression softened when Everleigh mentioned her parents. “That sounds exhausting,” Emersyn said honestly. “Everyone seems to think there is a timeline you are supposed to follow, like life is a checklist instead of… life.” She bumped her shoulder gently. “You are allowed to move at your own pace, even if they do not get it.”

"Honestly, like once a month, I'm convinced my house is haunted." Everleigh admitted with a laugh. "Ugh you have no idea how much I needed to hear that, Emersyn." She admitted and looked at the blonde. "Life is so full of pressure for no damn reason and I hate it."
