I decided to do my own S3 Erin x James post like this one for S1-S2.

James zooms into Erin’s face in his film project || Their matching outfits || Erin pats James’ shoulder reassuringly, after Michelle mentions his mum doesn’t love him (which is apparently the reason why he got a very expensive camcorder) || They’re a two person team of Erin writing and James directing the film project || The two of them bickering like an old married couple, when James carefully tells Erin that her script could be improved upon || They look at each other several times when Michelle goes off on one in Erin’s bedroom || James mentions that The Video Village is a bit like a library and Erin nods in agreement || The two of them get squished together against the school door || James nodding in agreement and looking at Erin who’s suggesting that the gang need to work out how to get the door open || Erin’s smile and general expression towards James when he suggests he’s going to jimmy the lock || James is the one who’s keeping Gerry’s video card for Erin || Erin glares and looks annoyed at Michelle calling James a simpleton but begins to smile once James begins to speak || James quoting some of Erin’s writing, when recording the gang inside the school || When the gang are bungled into the back of the van, Erin and James both rant on about their rights to the police officers || Erin grabs James’ hand out of fear and they hold hands together, whilst in the van || James keeps looking over at Erin throughout the gang’s time at the R.U.C. Station || Erin and James have matching ring necklaces when getting their GCSE results
At the start of school, Erin is concerned and immediately asks Michelle where James is || Erin mouths a sorry to James, after Michelle tells him they don’t listen to him || Erin and James stand incredibly close to one another, as the gang look up at the poster for the Stars in their Eyes competition || Erin and James matching by wearing their Friends across the Barricade t-shirts when the gang rehearse their performance, whilst standing by one another || At dinner, they sit by one another || Erin sits in the front of the car whilst James is driving || James voices his and the gang’s concern about Erin being upset about Mary’s possible affair with the plumber, his worried looks showing added concern || Pre-performance, the gang pray together, with Erin and James standing together || Erin and James perform by one another, when on stage || James looks concerned when looking over at Erin, after she runs offstage || James being the only one of the gang to call out and show his annoyance over Erin’s over-exaggeration about being the first in the family to go to university
Erin’s general expression and smile when the group are filmed by James at the train platform || Erin’s plaid skirt matches James’ plaid jacket || They’re standing very close together at the platform || James smiles at Erin, as he watches her trying to pretend she’s not afraid of the ghost train anymore || Erin looks up at James with excitment as the train arrives || James waits for Erin as they run to catch the train on the other platform || Erin and James are sitting across from one another and bickering (alongside Michelle) with Fra the snack trolley worker (and manager and owner of all the trains) || James leans towards Erin as she talks about hopes and dreams for the future, all under the guise of him allegedly about to sneeze || The two of them keep looking at each other, as they’re both equally the most concerned of the gang when they find the bag and it’s contents || James tells Erin to focus, as she’s getting upset over the bag and she listens || After James begins panicking as he’s watching the male passenger and the other bag, he turns back in his seat, still panicking, and keeps his eyes on Erin the whole time as he talks || James tells Erin to focus when she detours off on her argument and threats with Fra and she listens, before James takes over for a moment || Erin and James look like a married couple and their child as they arrive in Portrush, pushing Anna’s buggy and carrying the bags
James keeps looking over at Erin as he talks to the gang outside the school van || The girls are talking about picking up hot farmers in Donegal, James asks about there being any girls he can pick up and out of them all, Erin reacts the most from his statement || When James get hit by the van, the others surround him, with Erin being the most concerned || The camera positioning of their concerned faces, shows Erin’s face dead centre of the shot || After the girls carry James to the house, they all dissipate apart from Erin, who keeps a hold of James (with difficulty) || Erin’s the only one who carries James inside the house, where she places him to lay down on a makeshift bed || She is the only one very concerned and panicking over him (though a moment later, when it begins to downpour outside, the others show more concern than they had been) || Once James wakes up, she’s the first to get to him, her face showing major emotion over his wellbeing || She asks him questions to see if his memory has been affected, their faces close || Erin looks over at James, when he mentions he’s going to die a virgin || They both look almost lovingly at the wedding photo of Robert and Annie || James takes ahold of Erin’s hands and turns her to face him || James awkwardly and sweetly admits and declares to Erin that he likes her and has done for a long time || Erin keeps looking at James’ lips as he tells her he things she’s beautiful, a small smile on her face || As James goes to leave, Erin grabs his face and kisses him, showing she feels the same about him too || She moans briefly, as they’re kissing || Erin smiles as their kiss begins to deepen || When Michelle rants about Erin and James getting together, James stands up for their blossoming romantic relationship and tells her that it’s none of her business || They both look upset when Michelle tells them that they can’t be together || They’re right by each other when the gang sit on top of Declan || Erin and James are the only two who point to the photo of Robert and Annie, Declan’s grandparents, when talking to Declan, moving in sync unintentionally || When alone again, Erin sadly tells James that she thinks Michelle is right about the two of them dating but he softly let’s Erin know that he’ll wait for her to change her mind || Erin smiles in James’ direction as he walks away
Erin and James are both wearing their matching ring necklaces || Erin’s expression when looking over at James, after Michelle mentions they have a free for all, ride wise, in their Halloween costumes || Erin mentions to the group about them all dressing up as angels, like Claire Danes (who Erin knows James has a crush on) from the movie, Romeo & Juliet, and when mentioning the movie, her eyes settle on James || James smiles back and slightly nods at Erin, as they’re eyes meet || At hearing James being threatened to have a fight over the Fat Boy Slim tickets, Erin looks very worried about him || Erin nods in agreement to James saying the whole fight thing is ridiculous, the whole time she’s glaring at Mad Stab || Erin looks very worried over James during the fight (though she still does cheer alongside the rest of the gang) || At the cafe, James tells the gang, minus Michelle, that he blames himself for how Michelle is feeling, with which both Orla and Erin agree but it’s only Erin’s comment that causes him to react strongly to || Erin’s the first to help James when he gets into a fight with Mad Slab || Erin shouts for James to run for it, after escaping from Mad Slab || They’re sitting by one another whilst in the hospital || In the waiting area, they hold hands || Erin and James’ faces are tucked against one another as the gang hugs a distraught Clare
James looks at clips of Erin whilst editing on the school computer, a soft, besotted smile and expression on his face || During Jenny’s mini play at assembly, Erin and James snarkily banter back and forth about what they’re seeing || James calls out Erin about her complaining about the agreement taking precedence over her shared 18th party, though he is very amused by her || James paraphrases something Erin said back in 3x02 to her mother, about stealing her thunder, this time James says it to Erin || James reads out everything that’s included in Jenny Joyce’s 18th party but as soon as Erin tells him to stop reading, he instantly listens and stops what he’s doing || James looks concerned at hearing Erin mentioning her party doesn’t stand a chance against Jenny’s, even trying to comfort her by telling her that what she’s saying isn’t true || They argue briefly on whether one of the cardboard people is Emily Bronte or Jane Austen || James walks closer towards Erin at seeing her and Michelle arguing, his face showing concern || James looks visibly torn and conflict with staying with Erin or Michelle after the argument, though he picks Michelle because of the whole cousin thing, which he tells Erin, hoping she’d understand || When outside Jenny Joyce’s house with Michelle, he lets her know that he feels uncomfortable being there, instead of with Erin (and Orla) || Erin, visibly upset, having found James at Jenny’s party, moves her face close to his when she tells him she feels betrayed by him leaving her party || They share a surprisingly intimate conversation || James gently strokes Erin’s shoulder with his thumb, as he softly reassures her that he didn’t want to miss her party, telling her he felt he was in a difficult position choosing between Erin and Michelle || The Erin and James caricature || They dance together several times, one of which James spins Erin in his arms || James records Erin at the party, where she gives a very eloquent speech to the camera || They share several exchanges of looks after he finishes recording her || James tells Erin that she should write that speech she just gave down and she replies that she will someday || They both get to say the very last lines of dialogue, together
