“it’s fine bambina. The food poisoning would be bad, but you can learn what to do to not accidentally poison someone for next time.” He breaks off a piece and eats it. He tilts his head trying to decide.
"Bambina? Hm, never heard that one before." she admitted, nodding. "So, kind of like my lab rat? You're a real team player, so.. thoughts so far?"

Either she enjoyed the sound of her voice or she didn’t get out much. “That’s an interesting story?” he finally said after a moment of silence, making sure she was done so he didn’t interrupt. “Can we do one question at a time?” he asked with a weak chuckle
She cut herself off letting the male speak, biting the inside of her mouth offering a slight smile. "Oh- sorry, I didn't mean to talk your ear off Sure, um, how about, what's a downworlder?"

mikey raised a brow at the girl. “you know, i almost would have believed it if you wouldn’t have added the part about food poisoning.” this doesnt stop him from reaching out and taking one of the cookies and taking a bite. “not the worst thing i’ve ever tasted.”
"Why would you of believed it? Is the presentation that bad. Right yeah, you caught me. I tried it one other time and it ended in lots of vomitting but practice makes perfect. Or at least that's what I hear many people say." she sighed, a smile replacing her slight frown. "So.. you like it?"

"Wha- dead animals, canned food? -Is that like a new diet fad? I heard most of those are nothing but scams, with that being said i'll take that as a compliment."
“Well, I traveled across Russia trying many foods, might as well.” She grabs a cookie and takes a bite. “Hm, not bad.”
"Oh you've been to Russia? Cool, how was that? I never been outside of Seattle, but home is where the heart is right?" she questioned smiling at the positive review. "Honest? You can tell me they're bad, I won't be upset, it may even better me the second time around. "
"You can't knock em til you try them, okay?" Kate defended holding out the plate of cookies towards the person. "But let it be said, I never baked a day in my life so you may or may not get food posioning."
“I really need a drink or maybe two, wanna join me?”
"Unless I want my mom to kill me , i'll have to pass. But thanks for the offer."
“Alright,” he said as he took out a small notebook, “negative’s are that I have no clue where I am and don’t even know how to get in contact with my family,” he began to list as he wrote them down. “Positives? I’m somehow still alive and no downworlders are here. I’ll take it” he breathed.
"Oh, you're in Seattle don't fret it's not as scary as it appears to be. As for your family, i'm sorry, that kind of majorly sucks -have you tried calling them? I don't know if this will make you feel any better, it's actually kind of adding to the negatives but I don't know how to get in contact with my family either, -kind of, just mostly my dad." she rambled. Tilting her head, "Why do you sound so shocked you're still alive? -You're not a wanted criminal are you?, What's a downworlder- you're like a never ending mystery, you know."
A quick look around had quickly told the Mad King that he wasn’t in Achievement City anymore— which was quite odd, because he could recall being locked up and thus not able to get out. Not that he was going to complain, he was more than happy for this opportunity. Out and about in a new place was just fine, it meant he had a new target to take over. And without X-Ray or Vav around, it was sure to be much easier to do. He could even probably get in a few murders first.
“I wonder who I’d need to kill to take over…?” He mused. “Though maybe, figuring out where I am would be a better start.”
Maybe it was a bad thing Kate wasn't taken back from his murder gesture, maybe it was the fact she thought he was messing around. "I don't think you should be killing anyone if you want power.. The only place you'll be taking over is prison."
communication wasn’t madzies strong suit — in fact the young girl often tended to stay quiet, only speaking when she really needed to, which made her showing up in an unknown city, with absolutely nobody she knew and trusted around a problem. as she sat on a park bench, she noticed another person approaching her “ — NO.” was the only word to come out of her mouth, as she reached for the scarf around her neck.
Kate rose a brow at the girl's one worded statement as she reframed from sitting on the bench looking down upon her. " No , what? Did I do something wrong ? You can tell me, I won't be mad, -offended maybe but not mad." she jokingly told.
