More art on my deviantart
My reblog tumblr: @kathea-reblogs
My OC list: wixsite (shorter description, more OCs), toyhouse (more detailed information, only a few OCs for now)
(I'm finally done retagging my old posts. I left some tags in Czech because they were not so important. When browsing my old posts, please keep in mind that this blog is 10 years old so older posts may not reflect my current personality and views.)
Main tags
my drawings - mostly just pics of my OCs ^^
my writing - contains my short stories and short excerpts from my stories
OCs - each OC is also tagged with their own name and the book they appear in
More detailed taglist under the cut

OCs - pictures, stories, and all other posts mentioning my characters.

psaní /writing - my experiences with writing! Sometimes contains information about my stories or even short excerpts from what I’ve written.
úryvek - short excerpts from my stories (in Czech)
sny / sen - dreams I had OwO (In case you’re wondering, “sny” is the plural and “sen” is singular for the word “dream”…) (These are all super old, I don't use this tag anymore.)
deník / deníček - they both mean “diary”. There used to be a difference between these two tags but I forgot it… I think deníček is for more silly posts… In fact, all my posts are silly. xD These tags are often found together, but often not. Anyway, I don’t encourage you to venture into these tags. And if do, remember that this blog is 10 years old and those posts are extremely old and may not reflect my current personality or views!
photo / fotky - photos taken by me
biology / biology facts / zajímavosti (z biologie)
reblog - I rarely post reblogs on this blog, I have a sideblog for that @kathea-reblogs

Anton and his first lover. When you're an immortal supernatural being AND you spend all your time doing science, it can be hard to find somebody to bond with. Anton was not looking for love, but with time, he grew very close with his human collaborator who was sharing his lab with him. <3
(I'm still at it with posting older pieces. This one is from March 2023.)
Alweyns spend most of their time watching over the world in their invisible form, observing people, taking notes of people's evil deeds. When they are sure that somebody is an incorrigible wrongdoer, they kill them, swiftly and efficiently, to make the world a better place.
Something I've been meaning to implement for a while, if only because I have the pay-it-forward mentality. And also because I know how difficult it can be to get feedback, or sometimes simply a kudos, for your writing.
I do remember what it's like to be a struggling, insecure writer, and I want to tell you: that's okay. There's no shame in being insecure. Writing is a craft that you get better at through practice - and through support from people with a little more experience.
About the Asks
These Asks are primarily geared towards receiving feedback for a small excerpt. I won't do chapters or short stories here. I do intend to open Feedback Commissions on Ko-fi eventually however for anyone in need of more (and who likes my way of working).
There are also no limitations of topic. I have no taboo. You can come at me with basically anything.
There are two kinds of Feedback you can Ask for: Compliment Feedback, or Critical Feedback
(make sure to tell me which one you want! By default, I apply Compliment).
Compliment Asks are praise only. No criticism, no trying to fix anything wrong in the writing. Just a request for a kind eye and a little support by telling you what I like about your writing (there is always something good to find!)
Critical Asks are a request for actual help. Whether you need brainstorming, or can't figure out why your paragraph doesn't work, or want some help rewriting things to sound better/more as you envisioned. Critical asks will first and foremost point out the negatives, and also offer helpful suggestions. What I find good, I will state as well.
About me
Do note that I am only human. Which means that my tone may sometimes sound harsher than intended, that I may not respond immediately due to chronic fatigue,... but I will always get back to you. My only intention is to help. So, be certain you pick the type of Ask that you truly want and need, for both our sakes.
Also, here and elsewhere: always take suggestions with a grain of salt. Ultimately, it is your writing. I can tell you what I think works or not, but you are still in charge of determining whether my opinion works for you or not. The worst you can do is to follow suggestions blindly. Especially with Critical Asks, make sure to take a few days to let the words sink in before determining whether my thoughts/ideas are right for you or not. I don't mind if they're not. I'll still be happy to have helped, since you determining my thoughts are wrong for you also means you better see what is right for you.
If you'd like to get a feel for my own writing level, check the tag Tales from Aeyuu. I'm a self-taught writer who learned how to have a healthy critical eye by spending a few years feedbacking at Project Comment on DeviantArt, which I apply every day I write and edit in order to portray my characters as they want and deserve.
These Asks are also completely open and free and may be done anonymously (but then, make sure you follow me or check my blog to ensure you don't miss my reply!)
Which, no idea how to make one, so do bear with me.
About My Writing
It is very important to note that I write Dark Fantasy and that, therefore, some of my writings may not be for All Audiences. I have legit no taboos. This matters all the more as I have a very basic brain filter and thus cannot tag my posts appropriately beyond 'dark fantasy'.
And my specialty is character-driven stories and explorations of personality in my own original world called Aeyuu. I am obsessed with psychology and emotions, thus my stories revolve around those a lot. And around death. And Death. If you grasp the difference, boy are you gonna like my stories :3;
About my characters
There's a wide array of them, a chunk of them talked about on my website. I tend to drift from one to the next depending on my mood and, often, what series I'm watching/what games I am playing. My brain makes connections like that. It tends to be very inspirational, but also very chaotic.
Some of them have been with me for over two decades, started as roleplay characters, until I had to branch out and took all of them with me into a personal version of their world. These are the characters that forged me and my personality. They also have lives of their own. Lives I don't always condone nor appreciate, but I am merely the writer here.
About me
I'm a 40+ yo trilingual writer hailing from the Kingdom of Belgium, who discovered back in '23 that she's actually autistic. As mentioned, I am obsessed with psychology and emotions and my stories will always revolve around character lives and, sometimes, deaths. I'm also obsessed with Death. There are necromancers. Ponderings on the meaning of life. Y'know. All that deep thought shit that my brain craves and that I therefore put down onto virutal paper because must.
I'm also way friendlier than my stories may make you think, I do like to talk with people, I do like asks and questions and tag games (though sometimes I may be too tired/forget them - probably got a side of ADHD to boot), and there's absolutely nothing you can't throw my way as long as it's respectfully done.
I think I have finally come up with the perfect design for Haga! :D I combined ideas from my own design and the designs made for him by my wonderful friends HaeresisTea and Yone. And this is the result! I'm finally 100% happy with his design! :D
It's the colored version of this older sketch. :)
The amazing Digital Replicant has already used this design in a raffle prize she drew for me. Check it out!
After knowing only this character's last name and instead calling him "diplomat" for 7-8 years, I have now finally come up with his full name! I'm proud of myself. XD
Diplomat's name is now official Direl Laihart, and I already got used to that name, which is a miracle, I think. XD
This was the first time I tried to design the pattern on his robe.
When Direl goes out in public, he wears the luxurious traditional Arhemnian robe to show off his self-importance. But he probably wears something simpler at home, when he is working on his inventions.
Character profile: wix (short version)/toyhouse (long version)
New OC! Well, not new, I created him last year, but is my first time posting about him. xD
Anton is a scholar, researcher and inventor, and secretly an immortal supernatural being (called alweyn). He spends much of his time living as a human, under many fake identities. With this behaviour, he breaks many rules of alweyn society, and he lives in constant fear that other alweyns will find out about his offences and give him the ultimate punishment. Yet, he won’t give up pursuing research because he believes he can bring much good to the world.
He has a strong resentment towards other alweyns and tends to avoid them as much as he can. He's super grumpy and full of himself.
He also has an OC profile on wix (short version) or toyhouse (long version). :3
So Nocturnaliss has made it canon in her story that Soba is attracted to wounded people (both in the injury sense and a figurative sense) and, being the pervert I am, I just had to draw him kissing Ario's bandages (this doesn't canonly happen in the story but she said that he might do it >>)
Soba is a character from Ario's Story by @tales-from-nocturnaliss
And here's a bonus fanart of Triku from the same story
She got me to read the Amulet of Samarkand and then she asked for fanart of it. :D So I drew the djinn Bartimaeus in his favourite form.
I've never really heard anyone else mention this book (other than Yone), and it's a pity because it's such a great book! I love how both the main characters are arrogant and mostly following their own goals instead of being the cliché perfect heroes who save everyone. XD
