This is a concept on Tenna and his perception of things he doesn't wanna think about.
So first. Let me just put up some in-game stuff that inspired this concept before actually presenting it.

These are the most potent examples of Tenna censoring stuff he doesn't wanna think about.
So! My concept is just taking it a bit further.
Basically, Tenna unconciously visually censors certain people, to keep himself in an emotionally favorable reality and to not have to process certain facts.

Let's start with Mike.
That's why he can't tell the Mikes apart, because he doesn't see their appearances at all. They're all just [box]. Because the fact that the original Mike also became more distant towards him (green pippins testemony of it most often being them or Tenna) after he already "got abandoned" by his business partner*, would be too much for him to process.
*(I think he knows Spamton didn't leave of his own accord ("But when he picked it up, his face turned pale...") and it probably had something to do with signing the contract, just because of the timing of it all. He just repress it, consciously represses it. The visual censorship is a more unconscious denial of facts.)
Mike is also already known as not being someone who shows himself to people, so Tenna can just logic his way out of why Mike is being censored. Mike wants to stay anonymous. He reasons it's censorship for anonymity reasons!

Then onto Spamton.

This censoring process, that's what's happening in his freakout when seeing Spamton in the pipis scene. He recognizes him. He tries to process this, but because of surrounding circumstances he's already too emotionally strained to be able to actually deal with that fact. So he unconsciously censors him, blocking out the fact that he recognized Spamton, "making him unrecognizable".
For Spam, Tenna reasons that this creature is being censored because it looks grotesque enough to not be TV friendly. He thinks its censorship for viewer discretion!

But yeah. That's it.
And like, this is not actually a headcanon? Cuz it's not canon in my head. It's just very "wouldn't it be interesting and thematically appropriate if this was the case?". More of a "what if?" than headcanon but, it's fitting?
He already has parental locks and references "the censors" several times, censors the game by rom-hacking it and the previously presented cases of him visually censoring Spamton. Just more expansion on that theme of Tenna's!
