we went to the moma on a friday evening(because it’s free) and i had anxiety the whole time because the place was absolutely filled. everywhere you went there was another group of tourists, pushing there way closer to whatever was on display. by some miracle, when we made it to the 3rd floor for this view, it was dead silent. for a couple of minutes we had the most perfect moments relishing in the quiet and the view before our very eyes. for the 5th time that day and despite the past anxiety, i remembered how lucky i felt to be there in new york city.
