The Gospel
You don’t have to carry guilt. Jesus has already carried it to the Cross.
We didn’t fear the end; we feared that no one would remember we existed
I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed.
2 Timothy 1:12
1 corinthians 13:4-8
god is love
Sariel, Sahariel, et Zariel
Is it really a religious side blog if I don't mention modern interpretations of ancient fallen angels from the Book of Enoch that the Catholic Church blocked et is highly debated in most circles today but unfortunately I have DND brainrot, while also being an Abrahamic and Christian mythology lover which brought me closer to God et it will make me talk about it?
No it wouldn't be so here we are.
Some background, in DND there is the Archduchess of Hell, Zariel who is described as a fallen angel with anger issues. If you know Baldurs Gate 3, which might be the first time some of heard of her, she is a villain that is there that haunts Karlach's narrative.
Despite being a villain, she was originally under Lathander was a good guy (defining good and bad with celestial deities one would have an easier time explaining the FNAF timeline) and even now, because of this background she is still a (not well-informed) idealist who truly believes humans would do well in Avernus.
Et then there is Sariel et Saharial.
Minor differences in the Book of Enoch, they are known as watchers, still celestial entities under God's rule but not exactly the same as an Archangel like Michael with a far longer problem of falling from Grace.
Sariel fell due to his, and Enoch is one of the books that does give genders to these beings though many would believe that since technically they are noncorporal beings they wouldn't have genders, lust of the daughters of man. He was said to teach humans the lunar calendar, and then there is also an Archangel Sariel who was sided with Michael.
Sahariel has less on him, but is considered a labyrinth upon falling.
Fun fact, usually when something falls from Grace they usually become volatile.
Second Fun Fact, Both Sariel and Zariel are associated with the number 7, Zariel fell from the Seven Heavens and Sariel is one of the original seven angels in Judaic lore!!
Jesus is triumphant! 🙌
Prayer Tree?
I don't think this will get far but, I would greatly appreciate some prayers, I'm going through a tough time.
I had a bad argument with my mom, a lot of it my fault so it is understandable she wants me to move out, because she also wants to retire and be an empty nester, I'm just applying to a lot of jobs while going to school.
My dog also passed a day ago, so...It's been rough.
Just looking for some prayers.
The Holy Spirit doesn't just make u dance and speak in tongues. He also makes you shut up, apologize, and examine yourself.
🌿Galatians 1:10🌿
For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Galatians 5:13
This testimony is a bit of a longer one and will be all over the place but I, though I have been doing my best to get better, have never been the cleanest person in my own faith.
Today’s study is almost fully based on the verse “Serve one another in love” (Galatians 5:13), and I feel this is a very important and somewhat overlooked quote because I am used to, and I’m sure most everyone is, “Love thy neighbor as thy love yourself”.
The difference in these verses is small but profound, it is easy to say that you love your neighbor, but can you put action to the words that is the key difference of these verses one says to love your neighbor regardless of who they are, Galatians requests that you serve; read as help, those that are different from you. God, and in turn his most holy book, are not to be used as an excuse to hate your neighbor; and as such be cruel and make their lives harder because they are of a different creed or belief of yours.
He challenges you to be better, to choose love, to serve, if you are His child, made in his image then you can not, especially in His name, choose hate, choose violence, choose to let your prejudice decide for you.
The Holy Spirit is felt when you love those around you, when you serve the highest Good.
The Enemy is Hate of your fellow man and to overcome the Enemy you must love and serve, just as He would for us.
Sorry rant and study over from me.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 🤍
