Crutchie, Romeo, Albert, you name them, they probably let Jack initiate contact. In most cases they respond with a mirror of the gesture Jack made. These boys are Jack’s brothers, and yet they don’t reach out to Jack like they do to each other. They wait for Jack to reach out to them, without fail.

People who don’t: Les, Davey, Katherine, and Race.

Les, Davey and Katherine makes sense, as they have no way of knowing about Jack’s stay in the Refuge (see post about Jack’s broken shoulder). That’s unfortunate, because as we see when Jack is touched without some kind of warning, he doesn’t react well.
