Almost forgot I had these. Cleaning out my purse on lunch. I have a setlist at home too, even though it's not the one I was supposed to get. My butt was parked directly in front of the speaker, just shy of center towards stage right. Saw the monitor guy put it right in front of me, and was told "wait till after the concert is over to steal it". Halfway thru the show, we were able to maneuver our new friend Lais up front. She's an au pair from Brazil, and she was beside herself with excitement because it was her first @gavindegraw concert (Gavin - you have fans in Brazil!). The lady (let's call her Lady 1) who had been to my left up till then, moved over slightly to let our friend in. We'd all spent 4 hrs in line together, and were friendly with each other. Encore starts, Lady 1 wanted me to help hold up a Gavin flag - I didn't want to, mostly because everyone in the first few rows was short. I didn't want to block anyone's view. Halfway thru the LAST song, Lady 1 rips the set list off the speaker, looked at me to say "FUCK YOU", and ran off. I had been hoping to give Lais the set list, b/c as much as I wanted it...it would've been the right thing to do. Show ends, and a crew guy finds me and hands me another copy. I hang out with my remaining new friends the Heathers and Robin after, and as I'm walking back to my car, crew guy comes up and hands me a small handful of @billy_norris picks. Sorry for the long post, but moral of the story is karma is a bitch, and if you emit kind vibes, good things will come. Also, it was hands down the best #gavindegraw concert I've been to. Finally getting around to sorting through my pics from last Sunday. Everyone leaving after the show had this look of awe on their faces. Kind of like "What did we just witness? Whenever I get bummed about not hitting a daily mileage goal due to my knee (still made it 10 out of 15 miles though), I look at pictures like this. Left, me at #billyjoel last year. Spent 6 hours in the car, so I walked around the Interlochen campus to stretch my legs (my legs were still achy after my 15 mile long run yesterday). Ran into this guy. #tbt to the 2nd or 3rd time I saw @LyleLovett live. July 2005 at Ravinia. I first saw him in Aug 2002, and he's amazing. I'll be 30 in a few weeks, which means I've been a fan of his for HALF MY LIFE! SUPER PUMPED to see him at the Chicago Theatre with my dad on Saturday night! #concertjunkie
