Finally comleted. On some reason it took me so long to draw this one. Well, I was inspired by gothic sculptures "beautiful madonna" and late manuscripts illustrations. I also wanted them to look minimalistic and modestly with additional gold elements. Also I was worried a bit of Mary's look, 'cause it may seem disproportional. Her head is big, shoulders are narrow and hands are too small; otherwise I double checked some medieval references and yep—it looks normal in comparison.

I finished it🙌

First of all I used Elizabeth Jane Gardner's painting 'Daphnis and Chloe' as a reference.

Secondly, Im not sure that I have any explanation about who this couple is. In the beginning I had some ideas to make it as a fanart, but as I finished line I refused. So the only definete thing is they are my OC's, whose story i will probably evolve, who knows...

I was also debating with myself about what kind of clothes they are wearing. Some ideas were about vampires, than about medieval fashion like 1200 or 1400, but eventually i decided to save her pretty body sharp, 'cause it could be so sad to cover and hide her arms and waist... So I went on a simpliest rode— give her a transparent nightdress, so art will not be blocked anywere at least🤓

And finally I was intended to add him stubble, but with long hair he started to remind me Jesus, so I refused of that idea thinking it would be kind of weird in this case. Now they both are youthful and loving each other.
