Disney will release a cover of the Sleeping Beauty classic, ‘Once Upon A Dream’ as performed by Lana Del Rey for the film Maleficent, coming out this Sunday, January 26 // Amazon
HOLY HELL THE EXCITEMENT IS LIVE.
As if you didn’t already know: Beyoncé’s self-titled “visual album” — which, of course, was available exclusively on iTunes — sold a ridiculous 828,773 copie in just three days, making it the music platform’s fastest selling album ever. Let us celebrate by staring into her hypnotic eyes.

LOVE. That is all.
It was a great year for feminism. Let’s celebrate.
Not that I consider myself an extreme feminist - and even though this is my second feminist-inspired post of the day - I couldn't resist sharing this because it's so awesome and empowering.
While the news has a tendency to revolve around the negative, it's really nice to look back from time to time and appreciate all the great things that can happen in a year.
I think it's safe to say that these events from 2013 represent some major steps for women, and an overall giant leap for (wo)man kind.
Million dollar bummer: how the highest paid women in Hollywood stack up to their male counterparts.

Even Hollywood starlets get gender wage gapped.
WOW.
Now, while I am movie fanatic / enthusiast, I've always held the belief that it is absurd to pay someone millions upon millions of dollars to read and act out the scenario that was created by someone else (this fits in nicely with my belief that someone shouldn't be making millions simply because he can throw a football or hit a baseball). Entertainment is important, but there's more to life and I just don't see why the pay grade has to be so exponentially high.
That said, no one really asked me my opinions on the money matters of stardom, and it's highly unlikely that these monetary standards will ever change.
The absurdity and unjustness of female actresses receiving so much less than male actors, however, is something I hope a lot of us can agree on.
It's refreshing to me that more and more articles / info-graphs like this have been surfacing lately, because this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.
I don't care what the monetary proportions are: there is no reason that the highest paid actress in Hollywood should be making the same as the "lower paid" male personalities.
Equality or bust, people. The fact that so much gender inequality still plagues our society makes me cringe.
You know, they call it a waterboard… but I never get BORED!
Oooof. Presenting the worst movie lines of 2013. (via entertainmentweekly)
A cringe-worthy good time, for sure.

So sorry you were misled and disappointed, Rihanna.
30 Best Disney Songs
Yes! Yes! All of these are excellent (as evidenced by the fact that I have every single one of them on my iPod).
I don't care who you are, Disney movies and their soundtracks are a timeless classic that can appeal to all ages. Save them for a rainy or gloomy day...they're basically guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
Tribeca Film to Release ‘Palo Alto,’ Starring Emma Roberts and James Franco
Add it to the watch list! I'd say this movie has a lot of potential and I definitely want to check it out.

Personally, I'm just glad 45% of people think the Harry Potter phenomenon will still be prevalent 100 years from now.
The other statistics are interesting as well. Check it out!

Fast And Furious 7 production delayed after Paul Walker’s death
After yesterday’s tragic news regarding the death of Paul Walker, production on Fast And Furious 7 has been indefinitely postponed by Universal…
Elizabeth Olsen reveals more Scarlet Witch tidbits
Elizabeth Olsen can expect plenty of The Avengers: Age Of Ultron questions over the coming weeks and months, and has been only too happy to discuss her character Scarlet Witch in increasing levels of detail…
I don't believe I've ever witnessed this particular Olsen on the big screen! Since MK & Ashley are usually the ones in the spotlight, it's nice to see their lesser-known sister gaining some recognition. I'll be interested to see how she does in The Avengers movie that is scheduled to hit theaters May 1, 2015.
Amazon has unveiled Prime Air, their plan to eventually deliver some packages within 30 minutes via Amazon drones.
I suppose this adds a new facet to the drone debate...but I'm really not sure how I feel about something used in warfare being charged with the task of delivering my new pair of boots or iPhone case.
How is everyone else feeling about this?
50 Films To Look Forward To In 2014
SO many movies to look forward to! I'm particularly excited for Divergent, 22 Jump Street, Maleficent and Catching Fire - Part 1 (obviously).
And, as I've mentioned in numerous earlier posts, I'm dragging my family to The Wolf of Wall Street on Christmas Day.
What movie(s) are you most excited about?
This is my contribution to this year’s Christmas tree
Funny Stuff you like?
Because obviously the Christmas tree isn't going to be complete until Miley comes in on her wrecking ball.
This is genius, by the way.
