I don't want it to progress to WoD... I hate WoD... WoD will always be the expansion that ended MoP for me....

and the thing is if it progresses, I can't even just chill out in MoP because 1) they might remove wrathion's questline and 2) the character models change in this expansion and it means my characters will change how they look :c

I also saw this article going around by the writer of the book whipping girl and what upset me about it is the way it's framed. it's written to sound completely neutral and impartial, but whenever trans mascs come up, it's almost always only to mention the things trans mascs do wrong. it frames trans mascs as irrational and as bullies, it mentions the harmful, insane stuff trans mascs have said, and then proceeds to not mention the insane harmful stuff people tell trans mascs. so it only frames trans mascs as stupid idiot bullies who misunderstand things

(there's like one mention of "most trans mascs being fine", but then repeats over and over again the harm trans mascs do. I'm sorry, when you repeat these things over and over again, it's the narrative people are going to remember and believe. it's how you frame it)

I'm seeing stuff going around weaponizing certain discourses to target trans mascs again and it's making me feel really sick. it's hard to breathe

last night I was looking at the trevor project 2025 lgbtq+ youth stats, and I had to fight my own disbelief that trans men score the highest rates of suicide, physical threats/harm, conversion therapy, and discrimination

I had to check it over numerous times to make sure I wasn't insane

because I've been told over and over and over and over again that trans mascs aren't as oppressed as other trans people

we say trans mascs are invisible, and how invisibility brings safety. how? I don't see it as invisibility, I see it as silence. how can trans mascs have rates this high, and no one talks about it?

all it means is that when we are harmed, the harm we face is invisible

just because you can't hear us doesn't mean we aren't oppressed. I thought we understood that under represented people suffer greatly, because they aren't listened to, because their struggles are invisible to everyone else

why is invisibility only a perk when it's trans mascs

(also to be clear I'm not saying trans mascs are more oppressed than anyone else, I'm saying we are all oppressed, in different ways, and to say trans mascs aren't as oppressed as others is literally not true)

thank you everyone here who cares about my works, both art and fics, and even my posts analyzing silly story stuff, to posts venting about how I feel about things. thank you for leaving comments on my works, or messages in the tags. they actually make all the difference. they make such a difference

I struggle a lot with depression, caused directly by collective trauma and minority stress. it's easy to be made to feel insignificant, like you don't matter, and that you're completely alone

thank you to those of you who Get It. thank you for showing compassion, and passion, for the things I care about. I can see it in the way you talk, and talk with me, and I appreciate it so much

I talk a lot about trans men/trans mascs. we're a very underrepresented group. we're used to being made to feel small, and like we don't matter. thank you for making me feel like I matter
