Ok year in review. This year I learned a lot about mental illness, which on its own is scary, but learning what it means is so empowering. Being able to isolate and identify a mental issue and realizing that it's separate from what defines you as a person is huge. That's so much easier said than done, but any step towards taking power away from your disability is a step in the right direction. It's strange that we separate life into 12 month parts. I don't feel as though the work I put into the past year hasn't already started carrying on to the next. I barely know what I'm doing next week, I just hope I can get through to it. So here's to making it this far, everybody. I don't know if anyone is interested in hearing more about me or if you're just here for the art. Secretly, you hear more about me through the art than you may realize. Either way, thanks for stopping by, it really means a lot. Love you 💕

Hi! I haven’t logged on to tumblr for so long that they asked me to change my password. Apologies for all the messages that have gone unanswered, I didn’t even know tumblr had a messaging thing now, its been that long! So, here’s some work from this summer. I had to get my appendix out suddenly a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t stop me from trying to work while I was recovering, although I should have known better. Being cut open is strangely hard on your brain, as well as your body. I tried to convince myself I was invincible instead of taking the rest I needed. Anyway, I was really antsy from staying in bed so I painted this.

Hey thank you!! The only brush pack I could offer to download would be a well of india ink and a couple of cheap sabelite brushes in an envelope! That would be pretty fun to send to people though..
