I am attempting to work on my nerves when it comes to singing. I love singing, I always have. Here is a cover of the song “Ghosts” by Crywolf. My voice is naturally jazzy/bluesy, so one of my favorite things to do is re-vamp some of my favorite songs in my own style. This was a first-attempt, so I know that it is by no means ‘golden’, hope you enjoy.

Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro mocktail)

Ingredients: 6 Mint leaves 1 oz Lime juice 1 oz Grapefruit juice .5 oz Simple syrup ~2-3 oz Non-alcoholic Ginger Beer

My Neighbor Totoro may have been the first anime I ever saw. I watched it in 3rd Grade, back when I didn’t even know what anime was! Since then I have become a huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki, with my favorite movie of his being Princess Mononoke. I wanted to pay tribute to the director by making a mocktail inspired by one of his more famous characters. What’s your favorite Miyazaki movie? Dungeon Nerd Basement Bar

Geeks Joe and Megan Weber are a bit DIY geniuses. They took their average, white walled, boring basement and, over a bit of time, turned it into an elaborate geeky dungeon themed bar! With the painted stone walls, hanging fake skeleton, and plush Tonberry, it’s a real nerd cave. Low lighting makes the illuminated bar eerily captivating. Joe and Megan even included a secret door to another area behind a bookshelf. This area looks like the perfect place to play some Dark Souls with a drink on hand or cower in fear while watching a scary movie.

Thanks to Joe and Megan Weber (who painted the walls, herself) for sharing their great space!
