自分のダンスレッスンの時間から多くの事を学んだ。

  俺が何も声かけなくても自分達で励まし合ってひたすら練習するその姿

  この場で出会い、友達になった彼らは年齢や育った環境も違うけど

『うまくなる』

という共通の目標がある

  しかも『絶対うまくなってやる』

という高い意識の中で。

  そしてたった少しの間で現実にうまくなり続けているその努力と気力に尊敬する。

  踊り始めた頃の、

楽器を触りバンドやり始めた頃の気持ちと被った

  俺には必要な時間だった

  大人になっていくと付いて回る余計な感情なんてぶっ壊せばいい

  理想の中で抗っている

  自分の行動や進む道が正しいかなんてみんな不安だ

俺もそうだ

  己を信じるしかない

  目標に向かう過程で立ちはだかる壁が怖い

だから怖くないと知ったのかも知れない

  俺は俺に毎日笑われている

  苦しみや辛さのなかにちょこっとある輝きが達成や感動に繋がると信じきる

This is a series of photos I took of 1.G.K last night. I used one softbox placed above the camera directly in front of the models as a fill light. I then used another softbox behind the models at 2 o’clock set to twice the power of the front light to create a harsh outline around one edge of the figures.

Backlighting is one of my favourite techniques in photography and videography. The fairly harsh outline on these figures, created by making the rear light comparatively more powerful, is especially suited to band shots.

Anyone who knows me will know that I often like to reveal one or two of the hidden secrets I put into my digital art. Rather than spoiling the surprise, I find it makes my images slightly more pregnant with possibility and alive with mystery. I may be wrong, but I like to think it encourages people to find more. 

God is, as they say, in the details. 

I wonder if there’s anyone online who will understand the significance of this little flourish? We shall see…
