hey everyone!! it’s midterms week and i know that isn’t rly an excuse since i’m barely here anyways (oscar’s a stronger muse laughs into the abyss), but next week is spring break! i’ll do my best to get over here so i’m more deserving of the almost 100 of you here.

CIEL TURNS HER HEAD SLIGHTLY BUT MAKES NO OTHER effort to follow Neon’s circling. ‘ You have knee pads, ’ her gaze jumps to Neon’s elbows as she passes, liberally ignoring the girl’s theatrics. ‘ And padding on your arms. You are clearly aware that protective gear is important, yet you choose not to wear the most important one? ’

Katt comes to a slow halt in front of Ciel, bending over to tap at her kneepads before straightening out and knocking her elbows together. “ Neither of these make me look silly, that’s why! If I had some doofy helmet on my head, you wouldn’t see my highlights or anything! Besides, I’m not planning to headbutt anyone; the extra padding on my elbows and knees can deal more damage and look cool, soooo... ”

THERE IS A LIGHT GRIMACE ON HER FACE. She does not know how to deal with her schoolmate’s playfulness very well, so she stays the course: the issue of safety. ‘ Do you own a helmet at all? ’

Talk about total opposites; a girl that knows fun and one who probably has never used the word in her life. Neon stops her shenanigans for a moment to calmly skate around Ciel, finger at her lips before she winks. “ Nope! ”

A few seconds and Neon glides to her side, eyes roaming over the other as a smile curls onto her lips. She’s super pretty and definitely apart of a family with such an important name; but with the props to her for being so bold in their fight, she can’t help but feel a little humbled.

“ I wanted to say thanks for the fight! I know we didn’t technically go at it, but I was watching you with Flynt and it was suuuuuuuper awesome! ”

well, at least he could say he hadn’t heard that before. being an asshole, maybe, but not brooding. he wasn’t quite sure if it was an improvement or not. ❛ not all of us were born with bright orange hair, y’know. some of us just gotta make do with the colour schemes we’re given. ❜

“ You do know hair dye exists, right? ” A pause. “ Oh, the orange is totally natural, but the blue isn’t! ” she nearly shouts, the idea of her gorgeous hair color being undermined by the idea of it being dye too much to bear. “ Besides, spicing it up can make you stand out more! If you had a bright arena for a fight, you’d stick out like a stubbed toe, y’know? ”
