When I first signed up for the Gokyo Lake Trekking adventure, I was excited about the blue lakes and peaceful trails. But one question kept coming to my mind—Can you really see Mount Everest from Gokyo Lakes? The answer is yes! And let me tell you, it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

Hello everyone! I just got back from the most amazing adventure of my life. I went on the Everest Base Camp Trek, and it was truly a dream come true! This was my first time walking to such a famous place, and I was so excited, maybe a little nervous, but mostly just full of wonder. It felt like I was stepping into a giant, beautiful postcard.

My journey started with a short, exciting plane ride to a small mountain town called Lukla. From there, we began walking. The trek usually takes about 12 days to go up and down. Each day, we walked through small villages, past colorful prayer flags, and next to a fast-flowing river. The path was sometimes steep, sometimes flat. We walked about 130 kilometers (that's about 80 miles) all together, round trip!

As we went higher, the air became cooler, and the mountains grew bigger and bigger. I met so many interesting people along the way – other walkers from all over the world, and the super kind Sherpa people who live in these high mountains. We stayed in cozy tea houses each night. The food, especially 'Dal Bhat' (rice and lentils), gave us so much energy! Did you know that thousands of people do this trek every year? It's a very popular walk! In a good year, over 30,000 visitors come to this area.
