🌛 Moon magic 🌛
Correspondences
✨ The moon is associated with emotions, intuition, dreams, femininity, growth and manifestation...
🌱 Plants: evening primrose, jasmine, lavender, poppy
🌿 Herbs: mugwort, lemon balm, sage
💨 Scents: vanilla, jasmine, sage, mint
🔮 Crystals: moonstone, selenite, labradorite, opal, pearl
🍊 Food: cucumber, watermelon, milk, coconut, papaya, water, seafood...
-- -- --
Simple ways to work with the moon
🌙 Practice at night, ideally when the moon is visible and high in the sky.
🌙 Follow the moon phases in your practice. Start new projects on the new moon, celebrate during the full moon, and then recharge.
🌙 Leave out jars of water at night during the full moon. This is called moon water and can be used in all kinds of spells.
🌙 For shadow work, leave out jars of water during the new moon instead.
🌙 Charge your crystals, tarot deck, and other magical instruments under the moonlight to cleanse and recharge them.
🌙 Research what offerings suit the moon (white flowers, silver items, milk) and leave it outside as a gesture.
🌙 Wear its colours: silver, white, or soft blues and greys.

☀️Unfortunately Boring but Effective Summer Solstice Spells☀️
These are things I did for the solstice that were pretty boring but effective. Sometimes the best spells are very obvious and just need a magical twist ☀️🌻
Cleansed almost my whole appartment with basil+lemon cleaner I made to get it fully cleansed🍋
Worked out and then went swimming in my pool to get fully cleansed🏊♂️
Post-pool everything shower to even further cleanse and get the chlorine off me🚿
Cooked spaghetti with meat sauce because I was craving spaghetti so bad after swimming so much🍝
Walked to go pick up some gardening supplies for repotting my transcendia 🪴
I opened a High Yield Savings account to get the $400 welcome cash bonus while drinking mint tea for prosperity 💲
Went to my favorite cafe and treated my self to a bento and forget-me not tea for self love💘
Filled out a few job apps while sitting in my favorite cafe to keep the prosperity flowing and as a protection spell against layoffs💲
Enjoyed the sunset ☀️

☀️ Celebrating Litha ☀️
Midsummer | June 19-22
🕯️ Decorations: sun wheel, fire, oak, birch, seashells, sunflowers
🌿 Incense: lemon, lavender, orange, pine, rose, sage, vervain
🥧 Food: lemon, summer fruits, honey, oranges, carrot juice, cheese, iced tea, sunflower seeds, beer
Here we are at Midsummer, we have arrived at the longest day and the shortest night of the year. The earth is awash with fertility and fulfillment, and this is a time of joy and celebration, of expansiveness and the celebration of your achievements. It is a turning point.
Rituals to celebrate:
🥳 With people, visit a honey farm and bake honey cakes.
🍽️ In the kitchen, use lemon in your salads, sea foods, cakes, tea, everywhere!
🎨 Get crafty, by making a suncatcher and hanging it at your window.
💃 Dress up, with shades of deep green and yellow to represent the union of earth and sun.
📜 Write in your journal, about a difficult topic that needs addressing in the second half of the year.
🔮 Meditate, about what makes you feel strong and full of life.
Other ideas to celebrate:
Worship the sun by watching it rise and set.
Take a nap in the sun to absorb its inspiration and energy.
Use sunlight to cleanse your room and charge your crystals.
Make homemade petal popsicles.
Decorate your altar with dried citrus ornaments.
May Beltane be kind to you, friend 🌿☀️
Hope everyone has an incredible Beltane and full moon! 🌙🌸🌷
Happy May Day from the critters that live in my backyard!

Feeling stuck? Wanna try something new?
Here are a few things you can do to kick-start the magic juices.
Craft a sigil using a method never used before. Here's mine if you're interested.
Low energy? Check out this 7-day spell crafting method to get you through the week.
Write down a list of your household spices and either research their correspondences or give them your own!
Research a spirit or deity from a culture you've never looked into before. How were they interacted with? How is this different from what you're used to? How is it the same? Here are some research tips btw!
Grab one of your tarot or oracle decks and pick a few cards. Without looking at the meaning, write down what you think the meaning is based off the imagery you see. What does the scenery imply? What about the individual parts? How do they come together to create meaning?
Wanna cook or bake? Here are a few kitchen witchery posts of mine, but also check out @breelandwalker's page and her many recipe round-ups! Follow the recipes or use them as inspiration to craft your own!
Deep dive into the life and death of one of the many occult figureheads throughout history! Here's a list of some of them.
Check out my #weekly witchy questions tag on my page to expand your practice by exploring your beliefs!
Have fun!
