The new Wuthering Heights by Emerald Fennell is visually stunning, and has you feeling deeply for these star crossed lovers ✨ I know, I know, that’s not the point of the book. But I beg of you, forget the book when you watch this movie! Forget everything, open your mind and just think of the names and vague storyline similarities as coincidences. I did that and loved this movie. LOVED IT! There’s yearning, there’s drama, there’s mild shock, there’s extravagance, there’s light and darkish comedy, there’s passion! I laughed during the movie… and I cried in the end.

It was marvelous, in my opinion 🥀✨🖤

I’ve had two days to process watching Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro, and all I can say is… I can’t get over it.

It was a true masterpiece: the use of color, the general aesthetic, the soundtrack, the costumes, every frame of the movie could be an art piece by one of the old masters….

And the story! The vulnerability, the empathy, the longing for understanding, the reversal of roles - who is God, who is man, who is monster….

Genius. One should have known it would be so, Guillermo del Toro never disappoints.

In one word: Art.
