minato   had  been used to .. interactions such as these.  maybe not as blatantly vulgar , but in his own time, it was no different from a certain student of his questioning his teaching methods so pointedly aggressive, minato has learned  oftentimes,  it  had  only meant  someone was dealing with something  on the inside.   “ Ah,  you must be… kawaki, naruto had mentioned  a  bit about you.. “  he must look ridiculous holding his plate of cookies, but he thought  himawari and boruto would’ve appreciated coming home to it. but, he would also appreciate not being treated as an intruder when entering his own son’s home. 

    he sets the plate down.  “  perhaps you should look up on that mountain more, “  he makes a thumbs up, and directs to himself.  “  I’m the yodaime hokage, but my grandkids just call me  grandpa. “  he bears a very short lived grin.  “ not .. that you should call me grandpa.. “

Blue-grey colored eyes squinted at the mention of Naruto. Usually Kawaki wasn’t so observant unless it was in battle but the way this man stood out; blonde hair, blue eyes, and a kind smile reminded him of the Seventh. With a distant look in his eyes, he also took notice of the. . .what were those ? They didn’t look like taiyaki but was that chocolate ?  Silence fell and Kawaki looked towards the stone faces - - - sure enough, this flaky guy was there. Funny because he didn’t give off a powerful aura as the Seventh had. Hearing the last bit was when it began to all piece together.  With an unsatisfied look on his features, he turned his back, hands shoved into his pockets.  ❝ You’re his father, Are you the extra guard that bastard advisor sent to watch over me ?  ❞ with a guarded tone and half-assed apology he continued,  ❝ Sometimes I do things that I don’t have to do.  ❞

Wasn’t it her that said if he needed anything to ask her because she’d become the Hokage one day ? His own arms cross as he stared her smug face down.  This was really annoying. All he wanted was something sweet to eat and if not something sweet, then spicy. Wasabi was amazing - -  ❝ T c h. Don’t get all smug. You’re still annoying. . .but I don’t know where everything is around this village. . ., ❞ brows knit into a frustrated expression as he began following her. Seeing that genuine grin he squinted his eyes. How can someone be so nice yet so. . .strong? He wanted that. Soon enough he dismissed the thought as he remembered her fight. Something about her. . .amazed yet horrified him. Was it the eyes ? The strength ? Nah, not the strength. He couldn’t put his finger on it.

Jigen really messed him up and he had admitted such to the Seventh.  ❝ DON’T TOUCH ME, YOU ASSHOLE ! ❞ Fierce anger, fear itself reflecting behind guarded eyes but only a few could see past the malice that masked it. Was this guy just screwing around with him ?

but can we all talk about kawaki being kind of sort of like jugo in regards to his temper ? he’s only seen the Sharingan once and that was sarada fighting off boro. he doesn’t know why but it calms him down. the fact that just the color RED calms him, not by much but just enough to get him back into thinking logically.  however, he also fears that which he doesn’t know. he doesn’t know about the Sharingan and he fears that if used on him it will make him go on a berserk rampage since he doesn’t really know what genjutsu is nor how to break it yet.

                                           ↣ Former shinobi turned housewife. There was a time where she was feared to be ruthless. Before meeting Kawaki’s father she was known as the Red Rose. She had exceptional perception skills; she could tell a person’s intentions from a mile away. Her childhood had not been fair to her and she learned to be on her own at a young age but always wary of people. Man itself was dangerous so she decided to observe how people worked. Gradually as time passed, she learned the ways of their minds; how they ticked, their body language. People were always easy to read like a book. 

She wasn’t a famous shinobi but she was famous in the eyes of a boy she had saved from being abused by his father. She didn’t know this other boy but she knew his parent’s intents were ill towards him and they would continue to do such harmful things to him until the time they died. That time had come. She struck down the man without a second thought - - - her anger was hot, hellfire. It always sickened her to see such things done to an innocent person. Her summoning contract was with wolves; yes, she struck the man down but she also had the mindset of ʟᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴇ ᴛᴀᴋᴇ ɪᴛs ᴄᴏᴜʀsᴇ. A rather cruel ending for her opposes. When her wolves shed blood it always spattered out in the shape of a dripping rose. 

Kawaki’s father had been terribly frightened but seeing as how she extended a gentle hand towards him with a smile and tears streaming down her face, he accepted her. As time came to pass what his father had done to him he was now doing to her. It was an unending cycle. She dare not raise a hand against him because of the time they had spent in their earlier years for she had a genuine love for him. She wanted to help him get better but he would lash out. 

When she was with child, she would always have her pack with her. The father dare not raise his hand to her unless he had a death wish. The child was more precious to her than her own life. When the time came for her to give birth; she gave birth to a boy. The name she had given was Kawaki ( dry / parched ); she had hope that one day he’d find the meaning of genuine love, a love that would never run dry nor would make him thirst. A few days after giving birth she had left the home. No one knows where she went nor how long she’d be away. A queen among the wolves.

❝ . . . ,  ❞ There was just something about this kid that really grated on his nerves. A short guttural growl of irritation was shot towards the serpent as blue-grey colored eyes narrowed in anger. Kawaki’s visage was that of a wolf with it’s hackles raised and teeth bared. That was the atmosphere he always gave off and because of it people tended to avoid him. He was too feral for the village folk, for the adults, even the other genin. It was the look in everyone’s eyes: ABNORMAL. FREAK. DANGEROUS. If they wanted to label him as such it was fine by him, he didn’t give a damn. In anger he retorted  ❝ And what the hell do you mean by that, you shithead ?! ❞ 

His voice had risen; the look in his eyes was guarded yet beneath them rest a cry for help. Why did everyone think he was out to get them ?! Why did no one trust him ?! Why - - - a flashback of the Seventh hugging him, a comforter, a safe place. What was this feeling in his heart ? What was he feeling ?

If Boruto were here he’d probably dim it down for him. Well, maybe not him, he wasn’t so bright. Sarada? She was smart if not capable. Minakuzi ? Was that even the other kid’s name ? He forgot.
