I had just finished writing my book, Daytripper, when the blank dedication page stared back at me. Instinctively, I immediately wrote down “For our planet, Earth.” I looked back at it and thought to myself...”Can you even dedicate a book to a planet? That’s silly.” But the truth is, I didn’t care. To me, there is nothing more beautiful or filled with more endless wonder than this little blue and green planet floating in space that we get to call home. And so, I kept my dedication as true as it had so naturally spilled out of me that day. Now, all 150 of my limited, first edition copies of Daytripper are filled with my little love note to our planet. It is also why I made sure the book and all its packaging is recycled and that a portion of every sale goes to protecting our National Parks.
