Chariot Help || Will and Kayla
The shed was dim and cool after the glaring brightness of the afternoon sun, and Kayla squinted past the chariot to see a familiar shock of blonde hair. “Uh, Will? Why are you on the floor?” Her eyes adjusted further, and as she moved closer to her brother, she realized that he was holding onto his toe.
"The hell did you do?" Kayla was next to him in an instant, and she pulled at the hand on his foot. "Move it, you idiot, let me see. Why were you wearing flip-flops in here in the first place?”
Will flinched a little when she pulled away his hand. “Closed foot wear makes me feel restricted, you know this, Kayla.” He sighed, mostly annoyed with himself because should have known better. “Wait, what are you doin’ in here? Looking for your coolest brother?” He cracked a small smile before he cringed as the pain ran up his toes. “I think it’s broken…”
"Yeah, that's what happens when you kick a solid gold chariot while wearing open-toed shoes." She snorted, not without sympathy. "Come on. Can you stand?" Kayla was nearly a head and a half shorter than Will, but the infirmary wasn't far off. (She wondered if this was the time to try out her Tangled healing song theory- maybe not, she decided.)
"Anyway, some kid came in from Hephaesteus- the one named after a motorcycle or something? Jake was looking for you."

Will had been trying to fix up cabin seven’s chariot for the good portion of the morning; failing miserably as there seemed to be something jammed in one of the tiers. “κατάρα όλα” Will mumbled in greek, before he attempted to kick the golden wheel of the chariot. Only after did he realize what a mistake it was, as he felt a crunch in left foot and stumbled to the ground holding the broken toes.
