Leo is quiet for a second.

You walk in.

He looks up.

"...Your hair."

You smile.

"Yep."

He blinks.

"You cut it."

"Yep."

"...A lot."

You laugh.

"Do you like it?"

He nods.

"I do."

And that's basically his entire reaction.

Except—

Later, when you're sitting beside him, he keeps looking over.

Eventually you catch him.

"Why do you keep staring?"

"I'm not."

"You are."

"...It's different."

"Bad different?"

"No."

He smiles.

"Good different."

And that's enough to make you smile too.

🔥 2012 Raph

Raph's reaction is much louder.

"WHAT'D YOU DO?!"

You nearly jump.

"MY HAIR?!"

"YEAH!"

"I CUT IT!"

"WHY?!"

"Because I wanted to!"

"...Oh."

He suddenly realizes he's being dramatic.

"Well..."

He looks at you.

"...Looks good."

You raise an eyebrow.

"That's it?"

"What, you want a damn speech?"

"Maybe."

"You're still you."

And he walks away.

But you notice he's smiling.

Donnie is immediately interested in the practical implications.

"That's quite a bit shorter."

"Is that your way of saying you hate it?"

"What? No!"

He looks genuinely offended.

"I think it looks great."

He starts listing advantages.

"Less maintenance, probably easier to wash, significantly less drying time..."

You stare at him.

"Donnie."

"What?"

"I asked if you liked it."

"Oh."

He smiles.

"Yes. Very much."

Then he gets embarrassed because he realizes he accidentally turned your haircut into a scientific analysis.

Mikey is your number-one hype man.

You walk in.

He gasps.

"DUUUUDE!"

You:

"Oh no."

"YOU LOOK AWESOME!"

He immediately starts posing around you.

"You look like a ROCK STAR!"

"Do I?"

He puts his hands on his cheeks dramatically.

"I can't believe it!"

You laugh.

He keeps complimenting it until you're practically hiding your face.

Then he gets an idea.

"Wait."

"What?"

"You should get little colorful clips!"

"...Mikey."

"OR TINY BOWS!"

"Mikey."

"STARS!"

"Mikey."

"GLITTER."

"Absolutely not."
