AUGUST (august 1st - august 31st)

color: purple | theme: astrology / space | challenges: try making a character/person profile.

it's finally time for purple to shine, as it should! purple is one of those colors that comes out so beautifully in creations. usually from color manipulating blues and cyans but it's still so pretty. for the theme, i thought that purple and space felt like they could combine easily, or have fun with a little astrology. which flows right into the challenge!! i've always wanted to make one of those gifsets about a character or actor with little details about them (birthday, star sign, etc) so i thought why not make that the challenge to pair with this theme? there is a lot to work with here and as always, the whole thing is for your interpretation. you don't need to follow it fully, just have fun!! happy creating!!

color: green | theme: summer hits | challenge: create something that reminds you of summer &/or current summer anthem.

welcome to july!! our first round of green! a rather gorgeous color but also a color that we often try to neutralize in our creations. so this should be a fun experiment. i wanted to highlight summer since the northern hemisphere is currently in the middle of it (and suffering). all of you currently in winter, you can think back on your previous summers or choose something that makes you excited for the coming summer. summer has always been a huge music time for me (i blame warped tour!!). so that's why i have the challenge of summer anthem. what is currently in your on repeat playlist? what should everyone else be listening to this summer? and if music isn't your style, then show off those summer films and tv shows. as always, the theme and challenge are up to your interpretation!! i'm so excited to see what you all come up with, i'm sure it's going to blow me away like all of the creations have so far.
