If #lackadaisy could be more than a pilot, it'd be because I genuinely want more of this world. It truly appeals to one of my favorite periods in American history & seeing this finally come to fruition after knowing about it for several years warms this cold heart of mine 10 fold. It has that spirited dreamland appeal, I tells ya.

I hope it gets picked up, too. I want to do more work like this.

Why is nobody talking about this? Is so so sweet the message this image gives. The fact that, despite how hard the situation has been for animators nowadays, still something incredible like Lackadaisy can be created and cheer up everybody.

I can say, as an artist who had the great privilege of working on this production, that the atmosphere amongst the team was everything this image makes you imagine and hope for.

It really was a fantastic piece of art, made with love and passion, by a group of people brought together by a sense of camaraderie in a very difficult period of time. I spent more time lurking in the project discord (as is my wont) than actually interacting, but I saw it everywhere, every time I was there.

So much love to Tracy, Fable and Newt, and all of us who served as the hands.

It is finally done! The ninth house prayer from Gideon the Ninth as an early 16th century manuscript, because it just made sense in my brain.
