I just realized how clever BCE (before common era) is. Because we literally don’t know when “history” started, someone came along & was just basically like: “Well we need numbers that go on forever in both directions, because we don’t know how far back history goes back & we don’t know how far ahead history will go. Sooo, has anyone seen a number line with both positive & negative numbers? Because I feel like that’s our answer. It goes on forever in both directions.” I mean I just think this is a super clever solution to this problem & I never really gave it enough thought to appreciate that.

I finally made Buzzfeed's vegan mac & cheese! I used these noodles I just found called Banza. They have 14 grams of protein per serving! Both the sauce & the noodles turned out great. Super happy with the results! ☺😊😆😄

INFJ Confession #1602

I’m constantly thinking of the future, so that I can be prepared for it. As a result, I take things to the extreme where I think of almost every possible outcome. When something unfortunate happens, I already know what consequences I have, and I’m stuck on it. I feel like no one can help me, because when I ask for advice - 9/10 times I already read about it from other peoples’ detailed experiences, or thought about it, so I feel like I am trapped. No one can help me, but myself. It hurts.

This used to be me so much. It was so stressful. I've come to realize that being prepared isn't worth it. The added stress of figuring out every possible thing that could go wrong & solutions to it saves me absolutely zero, & in most cases, is more stressful than just dealing with any situation as it arises.
