Pho is a well known dish in Vietnam and many countries. The broth is made of beef broth and is so clear that you can see through the bottom of the bowl. There are a variety of pho. I have tried the beef and the chicken ones. Personally, i liked the beef broth better.
I love cooking and trying out new cuisine. However, this is the one dish that i dont want to try making as it is time consuming and by that i mean a really long time in order to get the beef flavor out of the bones. I would rather pay 10 dollars in a Vietnamese restaurant.
I haven’t been to Vietnam so i don’t know how pho in Vietnam taste like. It could be completely different. I found many asian food taste differently when they arrived in a foreign country. Maybe the one i thought was superb, may not be the same for Vietnamese or those who have eaten pho before in Vietnam.
