Dots Pizza @ ST3 (Long overdue. All time favourite smoked duck pizza. And the need of 4 different shots because it iz good)

Yummy Western Yang @ Icom Square Price was reasonable although the portion slightly small, only about half of the bucket. The fries had a nice garlicky taste and the mayo had a decent hint of lemon. Thai green tea milk was pretty great too (for those having a sweet tooth). Hot Thai green milk tea - Rm4.70 Iced Thai green milk tea - Rm5.30 Funky fries - Rm7.90 Potato wedges - Rm8.90

Sushi Zanmai @ VivaCity, Kuching

When compared to Sushi Zanmai Sunway, it doesn’t quite match. 

The price has increased in the past 5 years so it isn’t, strictly speaking, budget Japanese food (as in extremely reasonably priced yet extremely delicious) 

 But it’s still worth a try. If you don’t want to line up for too long, go 1 hour before the usual meal hours (eg. 5:30 - 6pm for dinner; 7pm will be too crowded)

The most recent celebrity who went there: Anthony Bourdain 

Reasons to go there: It’s good! Tangy laksa soup. The flavours are just right; all on point.

Jase’s Tea @ Premier 101

It’s on the first floor, as compared to most cafes, or stores in that area. It has been around for quite some time. The place is rather quiet; not very busy. 

The Nutella coffee is rather unique and pretty awesome! The ice cubes you see are coffee ice cubes. Next to it is a cup of cold milk. Under the ice cubes: NUTELLA! These three go amazingly well together. Easily a must-try at this store. Price: rm14 (if recalled correctly)

Island Cafe @ ST3, Kuching; Tarts galore

We had a piece of fruit tart and a glass of mixed berries yoghurt smoothie. 

Both were pretty good. The savory pies were actually recommendable too. The price range is pretty reasonable. The place itself is rather cozy. Tiny in size but that simply means there wouldn’t be too many people at one time. That is a good thing for those who enjoy a place that isn’t always overcrowded.
