𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 was extremely observant and she always knew when someone was lying or simply leaving out pieces of information they might not want to admit — she was a master at the craft herself, so she kept 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 and his leg in mind as their workouts proceeded. “hmm. . right, right,” she squinted in his direction moments before taking a few steps in front of herself where she met the bar she was instructed to squat. “stalling ? boy, i can do this shit in my sleep. don’t play with me.” with a smirk plastered across her face, she waited for the male to place the bar on her shoulder — and once he did, she began squatting the weight right in front of him in slow yet steady motions to actually feel the burn.

it was always a treat to witness 𝐗𝐈𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐄 get pissed off, but it was only enjoyably for her when she was the main source of it. “don’t worry, you ain’t the only one that booked a solo ride. calm down, mad ass,” her tone made it hard to differentiate if she was playfully teasing him or if she was still giving him a hard time for the hell of it. once the male climbed onto the jet ski, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 followed suit and positioned herself onto the back of it since it was very clear he wanted to be the driver. wrapping her arms around his body, she glanced around the area before returning her attention ahead of them. “okay, i’m ready. two things. . don’t crash ‘cause i literally got this frontal installed right before the trip and i ain’t tryna’ get my shit wet. and two, don’t kill me. i’m too young, pretty, and destined for success to die.” not that she expected him to care about her selfish remarks of why she didn’t want him to drive carelessly, but she listed reasons why just in case part of him still cared for her after all this time.

          just as soon as he got the keys of rented corvette, xiaire raced through the streets of jamaica, enjoying the views and the blunt smoke. after the personal tour, xiaire decided to cool off some and get to jet ski'ing. after parking the blood red ride, the male made his way to the beach. as his feet sunk in the sand, he traveled towards the line so he could get him a jet ski. as always, kovu wasn’t paying attention to miserable creatures, aka people around him, but then… her. his jaw tightened, the first desire was to turn around and leave for good, but instead, he stayed. why would he run? xiaire prepared himself mentally, reminding himself she’s nothing more to him than nothing. the male got in line, his hands stuffed into his revenge shorts. yet, keli had to remind him that shit won’t be easy at all. at first, xiaire was doing great at ignoring her words, yet she knew damn good how to trigger his peace. kovu slowly lowered his devil-like-dark eyes at her, his face blank. “ya delusional, as always. shit never gon’ change. i rather go blind instead of tryin’ to see ya. have a good day.” he said in a bored tone before waving her off, his irritation now more aimed at the instructors since they were taking way too long to distribute the jet ski’s.

sighing while her acrylics brushed through her lengthy bundles, paying close attention to his mannerisms; she was extremely talented at reading people’s emotions and he had facial expressions full of them. “it’s always this with you. . like you when are you never a miserable ass nigga ?” she cut straight to the chase while darting her brown orbs up at the towering male. “and you’d rather go blind than look at me ? if i didn’t know any better i’d assume you just wanted to be different because you the only one with that senseless mindset.” it was finally time for the next batch of people to have their turn on the jet skis and that included 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 — as well as 𝐗𝐈𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐄; whom which the instructor coincidentally paired her with. “is you shittin’ me right now ? “ she questioned while pulling her coverup off her moisturized body and sitting it down on a towel. “whatever, let’s go.” she wasn’t leaving the beach until she experienced riding over the beautiful water, so their ironic pairing wasn’t going to ruin her list of activities she had mentally prepared within the trip’s duration.

there were a list of activities she wanted to complete before the end of their trip, but the first on the bucket list was jet ski’ing. modeling one of her favorite bikinis from the pretty little thing summer line, 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 sauntered up the sandy shore before coming face to face with the instructors of the activity. after waiting her turn to get on one of the jet skis, she turned around and rolled her eyes at the sight of someone she despised walking in her direction. once he made it to where the line was, she decided she wouldn’t say anything to him; especially after their aggressively verbal exchange a week prior. but that decision only lasted for a cute sixty seconds before she turned back around to speak. “um, look what the sharks pulled out they asses,” she chuckled with her palm tucked at her curvy hip, tilting her head. “if you wanted to see me, you literally could’ve just said that, xiaire.” she shrugged while meshing her glossy duo against one another. “listen, when i become captain i’ll make the effort to get to know these girls like a real leader should. but until then we don’t have anything to talk about.” she admitted carelessly. it was extremely easy for 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 to trigger others with her choice of words and typically she’d feed into their reactions with a continuation of distasteful verbalization; but when it came to 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 she semi-cared about what he personally thought of her. so when he defended her cheer-nemesis, she kept it cute with a cheesy giggle and an eye roll shortly afterwards. “anyways, i do agree. that game wasn’t y’all’s best, but there’s room for improvement and i think you’ll get there.” she expressed in between stretches, noticing the combination of the pain across his face along with him rubbing his knee. after being aided with his generous assistance, she stood up straight and rolled her neck to rid the uncomfortable feeling from being bent over so long. “i’m down for the list of workouts you have planned, but ya’ know i’m not too bad at reading people, right ? i saw you rub your knee, you okay ?” she followed him over to where she’d be squatting for the next exercise, her hands on her hips while she awaited his response.

“i just said i’on know them..” she replied with sass, playfully rolling her eyes and smiling at his laughter. “i’m just playing, kinda’. the tryouts for captain is the first time in a very long time that juelz showed up to anything cheer-related, i hardly know chelsea, and the clumsy one is, well.. there.” 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 laughed under her breath as she slyly dropped her head, only to regain stability in her neck to finish talking. “y’all better be set if y’all go straight to the gym at 6am, shit. speaking of which, how you feelin’ after the game ? i haven’t gotten the chance to ask.” once he assisted her in her stretches, the femme smirked as she began bending her upper body down the middle with his help. once the fifteen second mark ran out and he returned to his mat where he decided to stand instead of sit, she followed his lead and stood up too. bringing her feet together, she obeyed his instructions and bent over in order to touch her toes while maintaining a straight posture. next, she spread her legs and did the same stretch for each side. while being bent over, she looked back at him with innocent orbs. “i need your help again, do you mind ? i don’t think i’m doing it justice on my own.” obviously being part of the cheer team plus being gifted with flexibility, she was very capable of doing her own stretches; but she decided to play ignorant and flirtatiously ask for his assistance anyway.

what would completely break your character?

probably her dad going broke, that’s where majority of her funds for school + shopping come from. she can’t live the lifestyle she feels she deserves if her only source of income is coming from the boutique shop she works at.

she gently plopped down onto the mat next to the male’s, resting her palms on the mat behind her body while paying close attention to him. “who, me and kam ? ‘cause that’s where the standard is set. i’on know the rest.” 𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐈 spoke with confidence while obeying his instructions, spreading her legs until they physically couldn’t expand anymore; then reaching for her right leg with her left arm. “see, i’m used to squats. i can do that, but all of that extra shit always been a lot for me.” fifteen seconds later, she began stretching the opposite leg, applying pressure to fully stretch her muscles. she was naturally flexible so the stretches actually brought a great amount of relaxation and pleasure. “so have you always been into working out or did basketball kickstart that lifestyle for you ?”

any of her weaknesses or flaws. being someone that’s a master at using people’s life struggles against them, she refuses to openly give anymore ammo when it comes to her life.
