Teddy’s smile only seemed to grow in size as he silently watched as Billy took the first bite of his pizza. Taking the other’s eagerness after his first bite, he wasted no more time and grabbed a slice for himself. Before digging in properly he inspected the aforementioned meat and with careful fingers he plucked a piece off of his slice and popped it into his mouth. If he was going to figure out what it was he’d have to taste it all on its own. “I’m pretty sure this is beef.” A thoughtful look graced his features as he swallowed. Satisfied with himself for having figured out what the mysterious meat on their pizza is, he finally takes a bite of the pizza. The wait had been worth it and no matter how much he enjoys it that doesn’t stop him from mentally berating himself for forgetting to make sure that the pizza was kosher. “We’ll have to crash their lunch hour sometime. They’ve got a buffet and that would be the perfect opportunity for us to sample all their different pizzas. Or we could just continue playing Russian roulette.” He said around another bite of his slice.

Taking a break from enjoying the pizza a little more than he probably should, Billy looked over at Teddy with an intent gaze to see if he felt the same about the taste as he did. “Mm, now that you mention it- I think you’re right.” he spoke and then quickly stuffed his mouth once more, ftaking his time to finish the slice he’d fished onto his plate just a moment earlier. “I’d be down for that. And I mean, any excuse to drop by your work to distract you s worth it.” he raised an eyebrow in a most playful manner, leaning over the table to inch just a little closer. “I do enjoy the thrill of a good russian roulette game, but I feel like we’ve been disappointed more than satisfied at this point.” he tapped his fingers on the wooden surface, debating which slice to secure for himself next. “How’s your day been, by the way? I want to hear about it. Chances are it’s been more interesting than mine.” he finally decided on a slice to take and then lifted his gaze to meet Teddy’s again, his lips forming a warm smile.

His lips spread into a smile as he leaned down slightly to accept the other’s kiss. With the pizza now out of his grasp he was able to take his jacket off with more ease and he hung it in the closet so it would be easily accessible the next time he had to go back outside. “Nah, it’s not the same place as last time. I learned my lesson. This one is from around the corner from the grocery store.” With Billy heading towards the table he turned to grab a couple of plates and sodas from the fridge before joining him at the table. “I’m not exactly sure what they gave us, though. I asked them for their specialty pizza, but I don’t know what that is. Hopefully my feeling adventurous won’t end up biting us in the ass this time.” Teddy definitely had to agree that it smelled amazing. His mouth had practically watered the whole walk back to the apartment, but he’d managed to keep himself from peeking inside the box. How he had managed that he had no idea, but he’d pulled through. “So what’s the verdict?” He asked, passing him his plate so that they could dig in.

Billy stood his ground for a few moments, simply enjoying the delicious scent emanating from the box on the table. It didn’t help that he’d practically not eaten anything for most of the day, so his mouth was watering at the prospect of getting something finally. Snapping out of it, he turned to look at Teddy with a wide grin on his face still. “That’s nice. This’ll be an adventure then.” he said while opening up the box to reveal the goods. His lips pursed up as he was thoroughly scanning the pizza, ending up with a slow nod of approval. “It’s definitely special. This city really has weird tastes in pizza, but well, so does New York.” he hauled a slice for himself onto the plate he was handed. “I don’t really mind an odd mix of vegetables and cheeses. Is that pork or beef though?” he lifted the slice to his lips to take a bite and find out for himself, sensing a smile form on his lips once more as he was chewing. “Oh this is good. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but something definitely makes this work.” he lit up, immediately taking a second bite with a satisfied grin.

Turning up in Gotham had been both a blessing and a curse. He missed everything about New York, but exploring and discovering everything that Gotham had to offer had made the change all worth it. He’d especially loved that being in a new city meant that he and Billy had to go out and find a bunch of new restaurants that they enjoyed eating at. Ordering takeout was like playing Russian Roulette - you never knew if you were going to end up enjoying it or not. It was a safe form of excitement and that’s exactly what he’d told himself when he’d gone around the corner from the grocery store he’d picked up a job at and ordered their specialty pizza. Without even peering inside of the box he’d thought that it would be a fun surprise to share with Billy. Teddy just hoped that he wouldn’t regret it when they opened the box at home. “I hope you haven’t had dinner yet. I brought pizza.” He called out once he’d walked through their front door and worked on getting out of his jacket while balancing the pizza in one hand. @kcplans

To think that this is what their life had come to as of late. Finding themselves in a completely foreign place, Billy had spent the first few weeks, trying to find a way home for them, but it seemed impossible, no matter how hard he’d tried. It wasn’t all bad though, considering he wasn’t alone. Having tired his best to keep it together and keep a semblance of normalcy, he was beyond grateful to have had had Teddy by his side, so his eyebrows immediately perked up when he heard him enter the place. He got up from his seat on their bed and basically stumbled over his feet to go and greet him. “I’ll eat anything as long as it’s not the same place as last time.” he assured with a smile spreading on his lips. “And welcome home.” he snuck a hand around the blonde’s waist and pressed a quick peck to his cheek as an additional welcome back before snubbing the pizza box from his hand, heading straight to the table to place it. “It smells nice. I’m starving here.”

the russian had never been a patience person or one that would take a while to formulate a plan. she had always been a more take action kind of person. but even natasha needed a break from all the drama, which found her cradling a beer in a seedy bar within the city. “are you going to drink something or just sit there all night?” natasha had noticed the other previously but had decided only now to speak.

exploring the city had been so much nicer during the day. this wasn’t anything like new york, and yet still reminded him of it in more ways than one. to know a city, you have to know it’s citizens, however, so that’s why he found himself in a bar downtown. the sudden approach from the other made him look up, a gentle smile finding his lips. “i’m not really much of a drinker- actually.” he raised an eyebrow as he took a closer look at her. “though i might be inclined to give it a try with some better company.”

     ( GREGG SULKIN ) — ▒ ✧ ACCESSING FILES ON HERO WICCAN aka WILLIAM 'BILLY' KAPLAN ( HE/HIM ). the TWENTY-FOUR year old CISMALE has been spotted in gotham. their recent activity suggests that they are operating as a HERO. due to their history in the MARVEL universe, it has been deduced that they are STUBBORN & JEJUNE but also tend to be COMPASSIONATE & JUDICIOUS. according to their file their abilities have been limited to REALITY WARPING. 

hola buddies. the name’s mark and admittedly, i’m more of a marvel nerd than a dc guy, but i like to think i’m still pretty well versed in both multiverses, so i won’t be completely lost, no worries.

the whole story surrounding billy is a bit of a confusing mess, so i won’t dot it all down here, but the main takeaways would be that he’s the reincarnated son of wanda maximoff aka scarlett witch, which is basically where he got his powers to manipulate reality from. he used to be part of the young avengers and later the new avengers, but with both teams defunct, he’s been keeping his head down up until now. another few notes would be:

billy grew up in a happy, jewish household where he was loved unconditionally by his parents with no complications whatsoever, even through his teenage years.

i definitely will be downpowering billy a lot considering he can do practically anything at the current time in marvels universe.

he has a twin brother! (if you didn’t know) in the sense that scarlett witch has another son reincarnated as tommy shepherd aka speed

despite spending a lot of time as a super hero himself, he’s actually a massive superhero nerd, so chances are he’s more enthused about finding out about this world’s heroes rather than finding a way home.

billy is generally a down to earth, happy go lucky boy with a way too positive and naive outlook on the world around him. he believes in the good in people (all people) to a fault, but over the years has gotten better at reading the people around him.

canonically i’ll be placing billy pretty recently in the new avengers story arc, having disbanded the team, however, i won’t be strictly clinging to everything that’s happened as better to fit him into the narrative of the roleplay.
