I’M BACK!!
It’s been a WHILE. But after dealing with some stuff at home, getting our living situation taken care of, and doing an entire myriad of adult-related self progress, I can proudly say that the K/DA Sides AU is coming in full swing! I’ll be posting new Character Cards, new facts, and hopefully some time soon we’ll get this performance on track in full swing!

K/DA Sides Headcanons - Patton (part 1/?)
Patton is a kitsune, more specifically a fox yōkai. So yes, his gorgeous tail and ears are very much real.
He doesn’t have much control of his kitsunebi, or fox fire. Often times it can manifest at the strangest of times, like if he sneezes or gets overly excited. His kitsunebi is bright blue in color, and isn’t very hot to the touch—or so his friends have reported.
He is able to manifest another tail, so by all technicalities he does have two tails. He loves to shape them into a heart to make other people feel better.
Whenever he gets too sad or depressed, his tail(s) and ears lose their color. His kitsunebi does the same, becoming a dull grey in color, but seeings as how Patton doesn’t have much control over the fire, this isn’t too well known.
He will sing lullabies to any of his boys who are having troubles sleeping. It is 99.99% effective.
Pasha and Lottie love playing with the little fireballs that manifest when he sneezes around them.
He L O V E S children. He will drop anything and everything he is doing to personally interact with one and/or sign a child’s merch. He. Loves. Children. And the children love him. He is the most popular member among children. There is a Discord group of fans SPECIFICALLY NAMED: Padre’s Children. It is all a bunch of kids who love Patton, and who all get excited when Patton pops on from time to time. It is the most pure server ever. Change my mind.
He can very easily be bribed with anything sweet. Cookies especially. But cakes, cookies, ice cream, candy—especially chocolate—all of that? He loves it. HE NEEDS IT!!
He has sugar rushes that are near impossible to bring him down from. He has to run it out himself, and then he promptly crashes where he stops. It is not uncommon to find him passed out on the stairs, in the bathroom, a doorway, or a random interval of a room.
He donates a lot of his earnings to charities. Mainly charities for children or animals. He can’t help it! He cries every time a pet shelter commercial comes on the television, and he CAN’T NOT SING “In the aaarrrrms of the angeeellls—“
The other boys have deep concerns about this.
He plays the ukulele. He has a family-friendly twitch where he will occasionally stream and he plays ukulele songs for the kids. He takes requests sometimes too.
He pounces. If he sees someone in desperate need of a hug—usually his boys—he will butt wiggle, crouch, and POUNCE on the unsuspecting group member and hug them until they smile. It works 98% of the time.

I’d like to deeply apologize for the lack of content. I’m hoping that will change soon, as I will soon be done with my GED courses. After which, I hope to produce content and get this AU up off the ground properly!
That isn’t to say I won’t post head canons and post other peoples’ thoughts; but art and comic pages will be lacking for a short while longer.

Logan Berry / (aka) Akalo
As a man who prefers to stay as professional as possible, he prefers to remain ‘anonymous’ in-group by keeping his face concealed. He masks his voice with a voice modulator if he ever has any interviews—which he tries to avoid anyways.
He performs most, of not all, of the rap verses for the group. He has spent countless hours perfecting his vocals to be as optimal as possible.
Being half Korean, he is fluent in both English and Korean. He has spent MANY hours teaching his fellow group members how to speak Korean for music purposes.
When he isn’t practicing for performances, he works as an account informant for an online banking company.
He rarely sleeps. He will sleep maybe twice a week for three hours tops. Between his job, rehearsals, and performances, he rarely allows himself the optimal amount of sleep.
He has had many competitions with Roman to see who gets the lead vocals. He almost always wins.
Many people see him as sociopathic due to his seemingly emotionless nature. This is not the case, but rather he just has a difficult time conveying his emotions in a way that most people would find acceptable.

I tried to genderbend their outfits and make them somewhat fit the original sides' aesthetic. Didn't turn out as badly as expected.

And THIS is the post that inspired this AU. Best kudos go to @aimasup for these lovely designs for the boys of K/DA, and I hope to do this AU justice.
I can’t wait to get started on this, and I hope everyone will enjoy the ride as much as I will.
Virgil Distra / (aka) Anxietas
Known for his skittish and shy nature, Virgil gained the name ‘Anxietas’ during the group’s first performance. He hadn’t chosen a stage-name yet, so with a bit of quick thinking, Roman dubbed him ‘Anxietas’. He is also lovingly known as Anxiety.
He’s mainly a backup dancer of the group, being too anxious to sing much on stage. But when he does, his vocals back up the leads. He has a very high range of vocals, and he actually enjoys singing despite his anxiety.
Pessimistic and wary in nature, Virgil tries to avoid conflict as much as possible. He can play-argue with his friends, but when it comes to an actual confrontation, his flight reflexes kick into overdrive, leading to his worst anxiety attacks.
He has a bad history with a few members of ‘True Damage’. Personally, he doesn’t want much to do with them. Seeing as they’re the rival of K/DA, he tries to avoid their interactions with him and his friends as much as possible.
Growing up in a bad household, Virgil’s anxiety stems mostly from how he was treated when he was younger. Past experience and trauma has led him to be mostly guarded against anyone trying to be close to him. Being part of a singing group, this can lead to issues, as his performance can depend on his mood.
Being the newest member of the group, Virgil doesn’t see himself as good enough to be part of it half the time. So while he works hard to keep up with the others, he will likely never feel like he truly fits in with the crowd.
Patton Hart / (aka) Padre
Everyone recognizes his Dad-like attitude, and even the fans call him ‘Dad’, hence his stage name. It is unknown if he had a stage name before ‘Padre’.
Although he was raised by a Catholic family, Patton doesn’t alway view the Catholic ideals. This has led to many personal moral conflicts.
Despite being allergic to cats, he has two. Lottie and Pasha, who are twin ragdoll cats. He loves them very much and will fight you over them.
He is literally a dad, and treats all group members as his own children. He loves to spoil them, especially on holidays or on their birthdays. He will fight you over his kids.
While he doesn’t dislike ‘True Damage’, he does get upset if they cause trouble or turmoil within the group. He has, however, had to keep Roman from starting trouble with them.
He LOVES interviews. He will show off his cats, or go on for HOURS about the rest of the group because he loves them THAT MUCH.
Although he loves everyone and loves to make them happy, he will set aside his own goals and/or preferences to make sure his boys get what they need or want.
Roman Kingston / (aka) Romeo/Princey
One of the two main vocalists of the group, Roman adds pizzazz and flair to anything and everything he does. He takes interviews, struts his stuff on stage, and is about as flamboyant as they come.
Born to American parents, Roman spent most of his younger years in Mexico. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and knows enough Korean to produce music and answer basic questions.
While he doesn’t win hardly any of the competitions he has with Logan, Roman is fine with taking the role of second lead singer. Besides, he can hit the higher notes anyways!
He earned the nickname ‘Princey’ after displaying mannerisms similar to a knight or prince during several concerts.
While he has a bold face upfront, Roman suffers from a superiority complex and insecurity. When he fails, he fails HARD, and it takes days or even weeks to get him out of the funk that follows.
He outwardly displays high disdain for the rival band ‘True Damage’, and is not afraid to bash them and their music in public.

Hello everyone!
My name is Boan, and welcome to the KDA-Sides AU blog! This AU was inspired by @aimasup’s KDA concepts for the Sides, and I have received permission to build upon the idea and create an AU.
This AU blog will consist of images/comics, short drabbles, headcanon discussions, and potential character asks! I hope to do this AU some form of justice, and overall just to have a good time.
Upload times may vary depending on my schedule, but I will do my best to be somewhat consistent with the posting.
