5 Tips: How to Stay On Budget With Your Style
âSelf confidence is the best outfit, rock it and own it.â
Take notes. Â Class is almost back in session!
Summer is almost over, and itâs time to gear up and hit the books for another productive year. However, just because you are headed back to the classroom doesnât mean you have to lose any style points with your wardrobe. For as long as I can remember, Iâve ALWAYS been a bargain shopper â even frugal shopping can be fashionable. Iâve never been too caught up on brand names (âŚnever mind the Christian Louboutin heels and Chanel handbag I have on my list of âmust havesâ :-)).
Throughout the years, Iâve learned to be confident in any look I style because MY style is never right or wrong when I am being myself. Â For those of you who are going back to school and want to stay on budget with your sense of style, I have some tips that will help you maintain that.
5 Tips: How To Stay On Budget With Your Style
Be Functional â Your clothes should be both practical and comfortable. With spending so much time at school or college, who has the time not to be? (Ainât nobody got time for that!) HahaâŚ
Show Your Personality â Â Being back in school doesnât mean your style canât shine through, especially to you all who have to wear uniforms. Spruce up your look with makeup, painted nails, and/or different accessories.
Mimic Your Favorite Style Gurus â Â Do you admire a particular personâs style? Are you straight stalking their Instagram posts and always adding pins to your Pinterest boards? These people are your muses. Mimic certain elements from them. Sprinkle it with a bit of your own flavor to make your own style.
Incorporate Pieces That You Love â What pieces do you love wearing or desire to wear? Which items do you repeat the most? Those are your staple pieces which you should invest.
Have Fun With It â Whatever direction you decide to go, have fun! Style isnât meant to be taken too seriouslyâŚat least not for me. Have fun â be eclectic!
Speaking of staying on âtargetâ with your style, donât you love having that one go to clothing store/online site where you know you can always luck up and find an item or two. Â Target is that place for me (please donât sleep on them). Â They have both affordable prices and fashionable clothing. Â The brand that I literally cannot get enough of is the Who What Wear Collection. Â This brand is the epitome of chic, classy, bold and fun.
The dress is one of the most comfortable dresses Iâve ever worn. Not only am I absolutely in love with its print but am heads over heels with the free flowing movement of this dress as well. Want to know another fun fact? I found it on clearance! Yes, Iâm not afraid to attack the racks first, and donât you be afraid either. Most of my favorite fashion pieces are found on sale. I paired the dress with a vibrant, over-sized clutch and ballet flats for a relaxed and cozy finish. Â
Now that Iâve shared a few fashion tips and one of my favorite affordable brands, I hope youâve taken note to help you stay ON TARGET with all your fashion needs for this upcoming school year!

Hello all my fellow foodies out there! After what seems like forever, Iâm finally back with a food post. I know itâs been a minute, but there will be much more coming your way â be sure youâre subscribed to get all of the latest directly to your inbox.
If you canât tell by now, I love food! Donât believe me? Check out my Instagram (and be sure to hit that follow button). From trying new recipes and eating my way through some of the most delectable foods at restaurants, Iâm basically living a foodieâs dreamâŚat least on the weekends anyway.
Of all of the cities my husband and I have traveled to over these past years, weâve come across quite a few appetizing dishes. Â However, weâve really lucked up just by living walking distance to some of the best Tampa happy hour hot spots which can be a blessing and a curse. In all honesty, Iâm not mad a single bit. However, my wallet may beg to differ (just kidding). Nonetheless, weâve come across a restaurant with a happy hour every day! Say whaaaat? :O Yes, EVERY DAY!
Kona Grill has been our go to dine in restaurant almost every week. With exceptional menu features such as American favorites, assorted sushi rolls and mixed beverages, it definitely hit home for us. Â On this visit, we decided to try the BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Crab Crunch Sushi Roll, Fiery Shrimp Roll, and a side of fries.
Although the flatbread was delicious, my obsession has forever been the sushi. After trying it for the first time over a year ago, it has become my favorite Kona dish. I chose the Crab Crunch and Fiery Sushi Rolls because they both have components of my favorite roll, Shrimp Tempura. I get the tempura flakes from the Crab Crunch and shrimp from the Fiery Shrimp roll. Talk about a burst of flavor combinations! Itâs literally a party on your palate.
If youâre ever in the mood for scrumptious food and a great happy hour, Kona Grill is definitely a must try. Go ahead and grab a friend (or twoâŚ) for a trip to mouthwatering goodness and great vibes at Kona Grill.  I will never steer you in the wrong direction when it comes to good food, good people, and good drinks. Ciao!
