Tumana (Marikina River) Fieldwork
Stream visual assessment, water quality parameter test using Horiba multiparameter equipment, and sediment collection done to assess Marikina River.
UP Lagoon stream visual assessment and water quality analysis (Horiba multiparemeter equipment and photometer for manganese)
Based from results of this field and laboratory activity on UP Lagoon, the water body is evaluated as poor with an overall score of 4.81 from SVAP and classified as Class D stream for it is acidic and has high amounts of suspended solids. The amount of manganese present from the collected sample of the stream is 1.093 which also fell under Class D specification.
